Episode 6Wednesday, December 25, 2019 Lloyd (David Lyons) and Eadie (Joanne Froggatt) find themselves in the bombed remains of their relationship now that Eadie’s pregnancy has finally been revealed. But Lloyd can sense Eadie’s still hiding something from him. The fall out from discovering the last layer of truth will rock Lloyd to his very core. Eadie’s (Joanne Froggatt) best laid plans to come clean with Lloyd (David Lyons) about her pregnancy lay in ashes. Lloyd struggles to fill in the gaps and come to terms with just how far Eadie was prepared to go to keep her actions from him. He can tell she hasn’t told the whole truth about who helped her and finding out will pull the ground from Lloyd completely. As the Chagas vaccine trial continues to roll out at the Resettlement Centre, Eadie meets the family of Stonehewen concierge, Israel Latu (Dominic Ona-Ariki). Desperate to collect enough points to earn themselves urban residency permits, Israel’s family are keen to volunteer for the trial. In spite of Eadie’s warnings about the potential side effects of the vaccine, the chance of residency pushes them over the line. When the permit results come in Eadie finds herself in the hotseat – faced with the prospect of the family being torn apart she takes things into her own hands and drives the family, herself and her unborn child into dangerous new territory.
