Episode 3Wednesday, December 25, 2019 Eadie’s (Joanne Froggatt) deception runs deeper as the pregnancy progresses and she needs to make good on her offer to take Shay’s (Ryan Corr) National Service days at one of the city’s emergency Resettlement Centres. Lloyd (David Lyons) and Shay’s breakthrough skyrockets them into the science spotlight, but their moment in the sun won’t last long. Eadie’s (Joanne Froggatt) promise to take Shay’s (Ryan Corr) compulsory National Service days at one of the city’s emergency Resettlement Centre drags her from her cutting-edge hospital down onto the front line. In the wake of big weather events, the Centres provide emergency relief for those who need it and Eadie comes face to face with the hard questions about who we let into the cooler coastal suburbs and who gets sent back to the inhospitable regional hot zones. Eadie begins treating a young mother, Rachel (Elizabeth Nabben) who has been injured in the storm and is unable to remember anything about what happened, or where to begin looking for the husband and daughter she knows are still out there. Lloyd (David Lyons) and Shay present their breakthrough to the scientific community, piquing the interest of a number of suitors keen to help monetise their findings. Dom (Rupert Penry-Jones) sees an opportunity to match-make and in the process earn himself some favours from Ministerial heavy-hitter, Carl Anderson (Felix Williamson). It’s a deposit in the favour bank he may well need to call on later. Cast (in order of appearance):
