The hunger for heroin in Australia means Terry Clark and the organization are turning over big bucks. Terry has more money, but also more to lose. When one of the organization members gives too much information to the cops, Terry makes a bruised and battered example of him.

When Terry is arrested after a boisterous party in a Brisbane luxury hotel, it's an old New Zealand criminal charge that sees him extradited for trial in his home country. There he meets the striking Karen Soich, a member of his legal team, and it's quickly clear that the attraction is mutual.

With Terry gone temporarily, Allison takes the reins in Australia, organising new couriers to ensure business stays booming.

Meanwhile, trusted drug couriers Doug and Isabel Wilson use Terry's absence to clear their consciences and tell all to the cops. It's only when Terry is acquitted in New Zealand that the Wilsons realise the potential consequences of their actions. What Terry doesn't know doesn't hurt him, but Terry's on his way back, he's got contacts everywhere — and if he finds out the Wilsons dobbed, they're in deep trouble.
