The girls reluctantly agree to let Lewis take a research assistant's position with a marine biologist. He hopes to determine what's behind their transformation but the girls are concerned that his enthusiasm may result in him revealing too much information to the attractive young scientist. After mistakenly leaving behind Cleo's DNA sample in the lab, Lewis is soon given a lucrative job offer and has a choice to make about his future. Despite Cleo's concerns about the motives behind the job offer, she is perhaps more upset that the decision does not appear to be as difficult for Lewis to make as she had hoped.
