Orpheus Pledger as Lewis

Lewis is seven years old and a typical only child, quite idiosyncratic and tends to live in his head. He has a good relationship with his parents and Ben and Rosie try hard to minimise the impact of their separation on their son.

Although he is only nine years old, Orpheus Pledger has a long list of credits since he began acting two years ago.

His career has spanned film, television and TV commercials. He has appeared in THE SECRET LIFE OF US for Network Ten, BLUE HEELERS and MARSHALL LAW for the Seven Network and STINGERS for the Nine Network. He played Winslow Welcher in the ABC comedy WELCHER AND WELCHER.

Orpheus’s film credits include THE WANNABES, FORBIDDEN and THE FOREST AND LAMB, which was a Tropfest winner.

He has also appeared in six TV commercials.

A student at Merrycreek School in Fitzroy, Orpheus is good at maths and drawing and learnt his lines for the part of Lewis quickly. In his spare time he likes skateboarding, trampolining, soccer, cycling and rollerblading. He has tennis lessons, plays the piano and enjoys African drumming lessons.

When he is older Orpheus would be like to be a D.J., actor, skateboarder and really good at drawing.

For the role of Lewis, his mother, Kris talked to him about the part. She described each episode to him in depth and discussed the characters involved.
