Episode 79

When Brian confronts Sam about setting up Daniel, he is shocked to hear Sam confess to a horrible truth. As Sam gets ready to kill Brian's entire family, Daniel appears out of nowhere to save the day. Back at the police station, Brian reveals everything about the fatal car accident to both Pia and DS Wilson who has returned to handle the case.

Jarrod asks Peta to provide legal representation for Tracy. He hopes Stephen, as her pyschiatrist, can help with her defense on the basis of Diminished Responsibility. Peta is conflicted about getting involved given Tess just asked her and Poppy to be Darcy's godmothers. Later, Peta informs Tess and the McManuses that she's agreed to represent Tracy and steps down as Darcy's godmother. Tess is accepting but Deborah is furious.

Jarrod tells Tracy he's willing to do whatever it takes to help her get better and get Zoe her mum back. Tracy agrees to his help on mounting a defence on the condition he grant her a divorce.

Wilson allows Brian to speak with Sam but the brief meeting ends with Sam being restrained from attacking Brian.

As Bec struggles to absorb the fact Angela has terminal ovarian cancer, Angela does everything she can to hide her illness from Stephen and Kirsten (Paul found out in Paris). Bec is concerned her façade will not only ruin the already strained relationship with her family, but kill her all together.

Addo is conflicted when an excited Peta and Poppy want to see the new apartment Olive got them. He's close to paying off his debt to Reynolds but the guilt is too much to bear and he confesses to his friends. The three are in the apartment building when Reynolds' goons set it on fire.

Meanwhile, Jarrod isn't in a rush to tell Zoe about his and Tracy's divorce and Stephen conducts Tracy's psychological assessment.

Shocked at being sucked into Reynolds scam, Poppy and Peta have more serious things to worry about. After Stavva and Amber race to rescue Addo, Poppy and Peta from the burning inferno, they turn matters over to the police. After being released due to a lack of evidence, Reynolds threatens Addo and Amber to keep quiet.

Baby Darcy's christening provides a brief moment of hope and joy for Tess and her assembled family and friends. The day also gives Deborah cause to reflect on the child she gave up for adoption. At Tess' encouragement, Deborah meet with the adoption agent who reveals that her child died at just two weeks of age. The story isn't true and Poppy's nan is in the middle of the coverup.

As Angela continues her façade, she begins to make headway with her daughter. But just as it looks like Kirsten and Angela's relationship is back on track, Angela messes up big time when she asks Paul to take Kirsten to the school Formal. Left alone and on the brink of a seizure, we are left to wonder if Angela has enough time left to make amends.

Stephen and Angela finalise their divorce and Stephen makes arrangements to sell their house. His talk of reversing his vasectomy gives Bec cause to reevaluate their relationship in the aftermath of her near kiss with Jarrod.

Stephen continues his evaluation of Tracy who continually compares her case to Sam's, insisting if anyone's crazy it's him. DS Wilson grant's Tracy's wish to speak with Sam.

Tess' suggestion that Deborah find solace by giving her child a proper burial initiates more lies from Olive.

After a very close call, Bec brings Angela back from the dead and in turn, Angela must reveal her terminal cancer diagnosis to Stephen and Kirsten. Ambushed by the kid's, Bec and Stephen have no choice but to let Angela move in while she receives treatment.

Addo goes to Jarrod for advice when he finds himself falling for Amy. He tries to ignore his feelings since she's dating his best mate, Stavva, but he soon comes to discover their feelings are mutual. When Amy leaves town suddenly, Addo can't tell Stavva why.

When Tracy gives Bec the okay to rekindle her relationship with Jarrod, Bec is left at a fork in the road. Does she want to be with Stephen, the kids and his dying ex-wife, or Jarrod and Zoe?

Bec struggles to deal with her love triangle. She tells Jarrod about her meeting with Tracy but can't bring herself to reveal the full depth of their talk. Searching for answers, Bec listens to Stephen's recordings of his session with Tracy.

Vowing to see Tracy gets what's coming to her, Deborah advises Stephen not to tell the hearing panel anything that could help Tracy get away with her son's murder.

Tracy's fitness hearing has finally arrived. Sensing things aren't going well, Tracy asks Jarrod to leave. He arrives home to find Bec waiting for him and wanting to talk.

Stephen's assessment goes a long way in showing Tracy wasn't responsible for killing Philby, only leaving her culpable for Jason's death. But just when it looks like all hope is lost, Jason Connors turns up at the police station, very much back from the dead.

Episode 86

Jason provides a statement to DS Wilson about his disappearance. He explains after falling overboard, he swam to a yacht and fell asleep, later deciding to fake his disappearance when he realised everyone thought he drowned. It solved all his problems — being witness to Philby killing his father and Tracy being pregnant with his child among them.

Tracy is furious upon seeing Jason having lived the last nine years of her life believing she killed him and being the reason she killed Philby.

Jason surprises his parents, who are elated by his return, and he meets Zoe, his daughter, for the first time. Jarrod isn't happy when he arrives at Jason' parents to pick up Zoe and demands to know what Jason's intentions are.

Jason's return from the dead is enough for Tracy to be released on very strict conditions. Her release however, only causes Bec more heartache, as she has only just worked up the courage to tell Jarrod she loves him.

Episode 87

In light of Tracy's release, Bec betrays her own heart and tells Jarrod that she thinks he should try and put his family back together. Stephen must continue his treatment of Tracy as a condition of her release.

Tracy asks to meet with the McManus family to express her regret and try to explain her actions but Philby's family is having none of it. Deborah makes it her mission to see Tracy punished and she demands Jason tell Zoe he is her father. Daniel is more blunt, going around to Stephen's and punching him in the face. Jarrod and Tracy decide to tell Zoe the truth.

When Tracy asks Peta about what regaining her mobility would mean for her case, she is reminded her release was negotiated on the condition of her incapacitation. When Tracy walks over to her bed however, it appears that she has been untruthful about her recovery.

Meanwile, Paul has his first day at the police academy after having dropped out of school. During a tour of the police station eh sees that they are investigating Daniel McManus giving him cause to be concerned about Lucia.

As Tracy's ability to walk remains a secret, Angela begins her chemotherapy but her presence begins to take its toll on Bec who voices her frustrations to Gabby.

Gabby travels to Seal Rocks to track down Jason who is working there as a lifeguard. She asks him to return to Manly while getting him to tell her about his new life.

Stavva is fearing the worst following Amber's sudden disappearance but all hell breaks lose when he realises that the reason Amber left was because of her feelings for his best mate Addo.

Stephen encourages Tracy to confront her feelings lest she relapse and offend again. Jason's return concerns Tracy who's afraid he's overstepping with respect to Zoe.

Tracy meets with Bec to thank her for not pursuing Jarrod and asks her not to mention their conversation to Jarrod.

When Stavva immediately assumes that Addo has been the instigator in the kiss with Amber, Addo is left feeling second rate and unreceptive to Stavva's attempted apology. Recognising his mistake, Stavva gives Amber and Addo his blessing.

While the twins attend their school's semiformal dance, Angela goes out to the club for a drink where she makes a connection with Ron and asks him out to lunch. The kids are concerned she's not told Ron she's sick knowing his wife died from cancer last year. She meets with him and calls things off.

Paul is frustrated by not being able to warn Lucia about the police's interest in Daniel. Curious about why the police are investigating his, Paul returns to the police station and manages to get a look at the case file. He discovers Daniel is involved in an illegal car ring and investigates on his own. He turns over his finding to DS Wilson then informs Lucia. By the time the police raid the warehouse, the cars are gone.

Lucia threatens to go to the police about Daniel, but is persuaded not to by Deborah who insists he'll be in danger if the man he's working for, Fletch, find out she's gone to the police. Deborah and Daniel both assure Lucia this will be his last job.

DS Wilson rips into Paul for tipping off Daniel about the police raid and his request to stay involved with the case gets him another earful. Wilson tries to warn Lucia off of Daniel as do her mother and brother who insists Daniel's involved in more than she knows. He's making plans for the next job already assuring his mother he has things under control.

Stephen and Bec's wedding plans are being pushed back to accommodate Angela. After overhearing Angela asking Bec to move up their plans, Kirsten tells Bec that her mother's not as strong as she portrays, mentioning her pulling out of her date with Ron. Angela believes she's found a solution and announces her desire to take the kids and move back to Melbourne.

Tracy's deception threatens to unravel when Poppy falls over a ledge.

Tracy is forced to rescue Poppy, who is stunned to realise that Tracy can walk. Tracy begs her friend to keep her secret knowing she'll be taken away from her family if the truth comes out.

As Poppy struggles over what to do about Tracy's secret, Bec realises the kids aren't keen to move to Melbourne. And with Angela's move predicated on the kids' decision, Bec is on the verge of walking away from her relationship with Stephen if things continue as they are.

Addo is living a blissful life with Amber when a surprise visitor puts his world into a spin.

Tracy is almost caught walking by Addo and Emily but gets out of it by pretending she fell. While Addo figures out what to do with Emily, who's keen on moving back in with the O'Donnells, Tracy takes her advice and tries to get her marriage going again only to be rejected.

Angela decides to stay in Manly after learning from Stephen their kids don't want to move back to Melbourne. Her attempt to push Stephen and Bec together by booking them a room at a hotel and their continued closeness is the final straw for Bec who makes a decision about her relationship with Stephen.

Stavva runs interference when Addo's worlds collide at the café. Amber confesses to Addo that Reynolds has compromising pictures of her. With his love life unraveling, Addo has to decide between Emily and Amber.

Jason's legal troubles from his disappearance conclude with a charge for creating public mischief. Forgiveness from his friends is harder to come by.

Lucia gets caught in the web of Daniel's criminal activities after he is pressured to steal more cars for Fletch.

Stephen gives Bec an ultimatum, threatening to go to Melbourne with Angela and their kids if she doesn't rethink their breakup.

Brian gets an offer on his real estate business and is prepared to accept.

Detective Wilson is once again furious at Paul for defying his instructions and interfering with an investigation. Deborah alibis Lucia and Daniel for the incident in the car park telling Wilson they were with her.

When Fletch demands twice the cars from Daniel, Deborah tell's Lucia to get Paul to back off. Paul once again tries to warn Lucia off Daniel but she's confident he's trying to get out of the stolen car racket.

Poppy keeps close tabs on Tracy but after an uncomfortable picnic with Jason and Gabby, becomes worried that Tracy's anger towards him may send her unhinged.

Meanwhile, Wilson's in suddenly transferred out of Manly and replaced with Jeremy Piper.

Poppy is worried about Tracy's behaviour and encourages her to confess that she can walk. After Tracy goes missing with Zoe, Poppy confesses to a frantic Jarrod and Ron that Tracy can walk. Their concern escalates when Tracy walks in the front door without a care in the world, no memory of her injury, and no idea where Zoe is.

Tess helps Stavva gets his mojo back but after her failed effort to set him up Stavva, the pair come to realise they might be more than just friends. Gabby and Jason's friends can see they are also growing closer.

Tracy has no memory about what's happened with Zoe and Jarrod calls in the police. While Jarrod and his friends spend the night searching the city for Zoe, it is Daniel McManus who finds her asleep in a park. When Stavva and Jason come across them, Daniel runs off giving them the impression he was involved in her disappearance.

Tracy's bail is revoked and she is taken back into custody by the police who suspect Tracy may be faking her mental breakdown to give her a defence for Philby's murder. Stephen tries to get to the truth about why Tracy lost Zoe and assures D.C. Piper that she's not faking.

Stavva confesses to an elated Poppy that he kissed Tess who encourages him to pursue things but both seem content to pretend it didn't mean anything.

While Stephen presses Bec about a decision on their relationship, her and Jarrod's relationship heats up.

Bec tells Stephen that their relationship is over and when pressed, admits it is Jarrod she loves and wants to be with. However, in light of Tracy's diagnosis Jarrod decides he can't leave her and Bec tells him Tracy can never know how close they came to breaking up.

Stephen and Angela rekindle things as she begins to feel the effects of her cancer treatment.

Gabby discovers Jason had been painting in his spare time and arranges to have an exhibition of his paintings at the Club.

Angela refuses to believe Stephen has feelings for her and tries to convince him not to give up on Bec, giving the same talk. Angela is scheduled for another round of chemo postponing the family's return to Melbourne. Bec speaks with Stephen and encourages him to fight for Angela if he still loves her.

Deborah is seething at the possibility of Tracy being released and takes out her rage on Jason whose disappearance she blames for instigating the events that lead to Philby's murder. Daniel takes up the fight leading to a confrontation between Jason and Deborah in which Jason casts blame squarely on Philby for killing his own father.

An angry Jason confronts Daniel accusing him of ruining his paintings. Daniel denies it. but Jason vows revenge.

With Addo having lost both Amber and Emily, Stavva organises a double date to get him back on the horse but Stavva is upset when he learns from Poppy that Tess saw the group in the club.

Deborah extends a dinner invitation to Lucia's family. It's done under the guise of peacemaking but it's more of a distraction from Daniel's continued involvement in the stolen car business. Daniel assures the Jones family he's out of the car racket and redirects the conversation to Brian's pending court date for the wedding day car accident.

Daniel lies to Lucia about his continued involvement with Fletch. Taking Daniel at his word, Lucia later warns off Fletch by telling him Daniel is prepared to go to the police. When she later sees Daniel meeting with Fletch at the house, she attacks Fletch believing Daniel to be in danger.

Meanwhile, Jason and Gabby's evolves but when Jason pushes her away she goes to Poppy for advice who decides to play matchmaker. Deborah rejects Jason's peace offering when he offers her a sketch of Philby.

Lucia is freaking out after having conked Fletch on the head with a vase — even more so after she and Daniel discover Fletch has gotten up and taken off. Paul tries to persuade Lucia to go to the police about Daniel but he continues to lie to her about his involvement with Fletch. Paul goes to the police himself and agrees to help expose the stolen car ring by winning Lucia's trust.

When Gabby informs Jarrod that she is seeing Jason, Jarrod makes it clear he doesn't want Jason in his life. Jason and Jarrod agree to discuss where he will fit into Zoe's life going forward.

Gabby surprises Jason by buying the boat he wants to purchase for a new business venture. When the boat disappears, Jason is quick to blame Daniel.

Meanwhile, Fletch put the pressure on Daniel to provide more cars and Deborah makes receives conflicting information about about her deceased baby.

Poppy's nan, Olive, returns from her overseas vacation and is immediately confronted by Deborah demanding she reveal the identity of her daughter who she now knows is still alive. Olive puts her off until she can speak with the girls' parents.

Lucia is afraid someone is following her but Daniel assures her she is safe and he's left the stolen car ring.

Jason is still fuming about Daniel stealing his boat and again confronts Daniel for essentially robbing Gabby of her $20,000 deposit. Daniel's car is later stolen and a note is left behind offering it back in exchange for the boat.

Olive has a medial scare upon seeing Jason for the first time. Deborah keeps up the pressure visiting Olive in hospital but Olive remains steadfast in her refusal to break a promise to the adoptive parents. Poppy thinks she may be Deborah's long-lost daughter.

Deborah confronts Olive, waving a birth certificate — she's discovered she doesn't have a daughter, she has a son.

Olive admits to Deborah that Jason Connors is her son and that she was involved in finding adoptive parents for him.

Jason and Gabby visit his mother and she offers to cover Gabby's loss from the boat. Daniel shows up looking for his car leading to a physical altercation with Jason. The scuffle breaks up when Deborah arrives and reveals the boys are brothers. The revelation is enough for Jason to wish he'd stayed lost and upsets Daniel who thinks his mother is looking to replace Philby.

The Mulroney family are packing for Melbourne when Bec stops by to collect some things. She asks Angela about her health but is asked to leave the issue alone. Bec fears the worst and later tells Stephen she thinks Angela is sicker than she's letting on. When he returns home he finds Angela unresponsive. Is this the end for Angela?

Episode 103

Angela is at home recovering from her attack — the cancer has spread to her brain. Angela and Stephen get back together and decide to stay in Sydney with the kids for whatever time she has left. Kyle is upset that, in his view, his mother is giving up. His anger leads to him getting arrested.

Tess asks Addo to speak with Stavva about the status of their relationship after the awkward aftermath of their kiss. Addo does his best but only makes things worse. Stavva marches off to confront Tess who corrects the misunderstanding and the two share another kiss.

Lucia is frustrated by Daniel's unwillingness to give up his criminal ways and is chastized by Deborah for her "naive" view that Daniel will turn his life around for her. Lucia finds out from Tess that Jason is Daniel's brother and she doesn't know how to reach out to Daniel — especially after she sees him talking to Fletch.

Lucia is furious with Daniel for lying to her and finally goes to the police. In exchange for providing information on Fletch's activities she wants immunity for Daniel but the police will only look the other way on his minor offences. Lucia goes undercover to try and save Daniel but has she just made everything worse?

Tracy prepares for the operation to remove her tumour and is informed by Tracy that the DPP will not prosecute her for Philby's death once her tumour is removed.

Tess and Stavva embrace their new relationship while keeping it a secret from their family and friends.
