Jarrod's name comes up on a taxi report on the night of the reunion, yet the taxi was definitely excluded from Jarrod's statement and DS Wilson wants to know why.

Stephen and Kirsten have their first confrontation after finding the tape she recorded of the fight, but Kirsten won't apologise. Stephen then confronts Bec, but while they're arguing she gets an emergency call. Curious as to why she hasn't taken her medical bag, Stephen follows her.

Unaware that they are being watched by Stephen, Jarrod and Bec head to the police station in an effort to clear up the taxi issue — but Wilson remains unconvinced. This is the second time Jarrod has been caught out.

Tracking down the taxi driver, Wilson finds out that Jarrod got in the cab only 200 metres from where Lucia's car was dumped.

A confused Stephen meets Tracy, who is already paranoid that Jarrod and Bec have something going on. Stephen begins to wonder why he agreed to their crazy plan.

Jarrod and Tracy fight. He can't find the words to tell her he still loves her and she runs from the house, devastated.

Feeling desperate to give Jarrod the closure she knows he deserves, Bec shocks him by admitting that she slept with Jason.

Gabby, meanwhile, is furious when she arrives home to find Paul lying on her couch, ready to tell Poppy and Peta their secret.

Knowing that he's taken things too far, Paul later tries to apologise. Although they both know that they could easily get caught, one thing leads to another and they end up in a passionate embrace — watched by a stunned Kirsten.

When Gabby arrives at school to see an upset Kirsten crying behind the toilet blocks, Kirsten sees a way of getting back at Paul by leading Gabby to believe she was assaulted by Paul when he was tutoring her.

Episode 29

Kirsten's latest venture in sabotaging Paul goes exactly as planned as she continues with her story about being assaulted. Gabby falls for it hook, line and sinker, ending things with Paul, with no explanation. But when Gabby urges Kirsten to report the attack, Kirsten begins to realise the severity of the situation she has created.

Poppy's new job at the club soon goes downhill as a drunk patron drops a glass, leaving a puddle which Tess slips on, injuring her arm. Blaming herself, Poppy's problems get worse when Deborah gets wind of the fall and threatens legal action — with Peta representing her.

When Brian finally finds his lost mobile, he has 30 messages on it. Someone has convinced all of his leaseholders to change management — but who would do such a thing?

Meanwhile, Peta finds some discrepancies hidden within Deborah's accounts and believes that her accountant, Thomas Finer, has been stealing from her. With Deborah playing the convincing victim, Peta has no idea that her boss has actually set Thomas up in order to blackmail him.

Ron's situation takes a turn for the worse when he discovers The Club insurance has lapsed.

Tess informs Noel of the arrival of the container, she's filled with hope about its possible treasure trove of contents.

As Daniel and Deborah pick up on Tess's elusive behaviour, Daniel agrees to keep his ever-watchful eye on her.

Tess finds her old life but no treasure packed away when she looks into her container.

Noel reveals Ray's identity to an appalled Tess and tells her about Ray's blackmail and attempts to reclaim the loot.

Paul continuously begs Gabby to meet with him to talk about their break-up but is rejected once again.

Tess stores the diamonds from the container at the O'Donnell's house in an antique chest. Although disappointed that the fortune she has been waiting for is not cash, she gets the jewels valued.

When confronted by Jenny Woo — the mystery Asian woman in the photo — her alarm bells start to ring. Jenny was the buyer of the stolen diamonds and Philby and Ray were the thieves. Now that Philby is dead, Ray wants his share of the $2.1m that they are worth.

Too scared to go to the police, Tess decides to go through with the deal.

When Tess discovers that Deborah's dinner guest "Tony" is actually her stalker Ray, she does anything she can to get out of town as soon as possible.

Kirsten announces her desire to go to Europe to live with her mother. Her father's reluctant to let her go but a phone call from her mother brings her dream crashing down.

Jarrod and Tracy agree to drive Tess to the airport but when Deborah and Daniel discover Tess' plans they race to the airport to stop her — unaware Ray is hot on their tail.

At the airport, Tess mails DS Wilson a letter explaining everything she knows about Philby's murder. As all parties converge, gunshots ring out and two people fall to the ground as Tess goes into labour.

With Tess in premature labour and Tracy on the operating table, the stolen diamonds seem insignificant in comparison to the trouble they have caused.

The investigation into Philby's murder shifts its attention to the illegal diamond trade with Daniel being arrested at the airport in possession of Tess' diamonds.

With only Tess' vague assurances that things will be okay, Ron is concerned about losing the club if the lawsuit goes forward.

Meanwhile, Tess tells Deborah she believes it was Ray who killed Philby, Paul presses Gabby for an explanation as to why she broke up with him, Zoe continues to hide one of the diamonds from Tess' antique chest, and tensions between Peta and Poppy continue as a result of Peta working for Deborah McManus.

Episode 34

As Tess and Tracy recover in hospital, Gabby tries to sort out the whole Kirsten-Paul situation but when Kirsten's lie comes undone, she threatens to expose Gabby and Paul's relationship.

Poppy pressures Peta to get Deborah to drop the lawsuit against Ron but reassures her the issue won't break them up. Tess' apology letter to Tess may do more harm than good for her case.

Stavva reluctantly helps out Justine by bidding up an auction only to have the million dollar property land in his lap. Stavva flees the scene in a panic leaving Justine to explain to Ron that the buyer, who he doesn't know is his son, disappeared without paying.

Gabby apologises to Paul for believing Kirsten's lie but he's hurt by her lack of trust in him and calls things off. Despite the break up, Gabby wants to tell his family the truth.

All hell breaks loose when Kirsten creates a blog about Gabby and Paul's relationship and emails it to everyone in Gabby's address book.

Paul's family has trouble understanding Gabby and Paul's deception, Ron especially, but the fallout for Gabby intensifies when her new principal, Denis McGregor, suspends her.

Stephen has it out with Kirsten when he learns of her numerous misdeeds. Spurned by her family, Kirsten turns to Blade.

Meanwhile, Brian is worried about being on the hook for the auction and DS Wilson learns of another secret from Gabby's past. DS Wilson informs Peta that there is still a missing diamond yet to be accounted for.

Tess cowers in the face of Deborah's zealousness and she reluctantly informs Poppy and Ron that she's going ahead with the lawsuit against the club.

Gabby gets called down to the police station to explain her secret rendezvous with Philby in London.

Tess comes clean about everything to DS Wilson when he questions her about her role in the diamond trafficking. Her story is verified when Wilson receives the letter Tess mailed from the airport.

Kyle agrees not to tell their father Kirsten stayed out all night if she agrees not to see Blade again. She won't listen to her brother, nor Lucia who jumps into Blades car in an attempt to look out for Kirsten.

Lucia and Kirsten find themselves in serious trouble when they are held in a desolate bush house by Blade. Bec saves the day and rescues the girls but injects Blade with an anaesthetic to get past him.

Tracy asks Stephen for professional help in aiding Zoe who is traumatised after having seen her mother get shot. Ray Churchill denies killing Philby when Tess speaks with him in hospital. DS Wilson questions Tess about the missing diamond, accusing her of withholding it.

Ray Churchill, the main suspect in the murder of Philby McManus, has been murdered in his hospital room and DS Wilson identifies two main suspects — Deborah and Jarrod. Tess alibis Deborah, knowing she's lying, but Jarrod not only has no one to vouch for him, he was in the hospital at the time.

Gabby returns to work where she is the subject of ridicule by her students because of her relationship with Paul.

When Addo sees Justine kissing another man, Stavva is left devastated and her vicious plot to destroy Brian's business is revealed. Brian is determined to take her down but doing so would expose Stavva's roll in the auction.

When DS Wilson organises a search warrant for Gabby's house, Peta goes into panic mode, desparately trying to hide private documents.

Whilst Paul is caught selling alcohol to his school mates in an effort to help save the club, Addo somehow makes Emily think that it's okay to bet an entire week of the club's earnings, along with the money from Poppy's Trivia Night fundraiser, on a single horse race.

Gabby tries to take Stavva's advice that the best way to get over Paul is by distracting herself with someone else.

Realising that Ron's financial situation is dire, Deborah offers him half a million dollars to turn over the lease on the club.

Trying to figure out a way to save his own business, Brian is desperate to identify the dummy bidder from the auction so the real estate board can take action against Justine.

Out of hospital after having been bashed some time after Bec's anaesthetic injection, Blade shows up at Bec's door threatening to return to collect on his debt. Late, Lucia visits Daniel to see if he was the one who attacked Blade.

Addo defends Emily to his family and she offers to make things up to the family by doing Tracy and Charlotte's makeup for Tracy and Jarrod's wedding.

Poppy admits to Peta she's still upset by her working for Deborah McManus and is scared for their future.

Lucia's secret relationship with Daniel McManus begins to overwhelm her as suspicions take over her emotions. Confiding in Luke, Lucia is concerned that if Daniel was capable of bashing Blade, it's not out of the question that he could have killed Philby. She refuses to go to the police and asks Luke to keep quiet.

Jarrod asks Tracy to confirm to DS Wilson that he was with her when Ray was killed while Tess' alibi for Deborah falls apart under questioning.

As Jarrod becomes the lead suspect in the murder of Ray Churchill, Daniel gets rid of a key piece of evidence that may link him to the murder of his brother.

Meanwhile, Kyle is sure he'll be kicked out of school for selling alcohol, Gabby irked to see Paul has apparently moved on and Daniel is similarly upset at seeing Paul with Lucia.

As Jarrod and Deborah are both brought in for questioning over the murder of Ray Churchill, it becomes clear to DS Wilson that they both have a similar story.

Concerned for her daughter's well-being, Pia reads Lucia's diary and discovers her past relationship with Daniel. Brian's threat that he will kick Lucia out if she continues to see Daniel leads her straight into the arms of the enemy.

Episode 43

Blade appears on Bec's doorstep threatening to expose what she did to him if she doesn't steal him drugs from the hospital. She refuses and when when he medical bag is later stolen from her car, she knows exactly who to blame.

Deborah asks for Peta's help in advancing her plans to redevelop the club into a shopping centre. At risk of losing everything in the lawsuit, Ron fears he has no choice but to sell to Deborah. Adding to Ron's woes, he risks losing his liquor licence because of Paul selling alcohol from the club.

Unable to locate Lucia, her family confront Daniel before going to the police along with Paul who tells DS Wilson about Daniel having Lucia's car keys on the night of the murder. Upon hearing Lucia is missing, Bec and Kirsten goes to the police to tell them about Blade.

Tess makes a successful last minute appeal to Tess to drop the lawsuit and gives Peta an ultimatum — stop working for Deborah or they are through.

When Kirsten goes missing as well, the Bec returns to Blade's house with the police. The police don't find anything but when they leave, Blade emerges from the bush with Kirsten to confront Bec.

Bec regains consciousness after having been Tasered and discovers she's being held captive by Blade in his beach house. Kirsten makes a bolt for the door and flees into the bush with Blade in pursuit. Bec recovers and catches up with Kirsten and together they run from Blade but when he injures his leg, Bec stops to help him.

Despite the lawsuit being dropped, Poppy wants Peta to chose — her or her job. Returning home, Peta runs into Marcus — Peta's husband. Marcus seems genuine is his willingness to sign their divorce papers but he throws them out.

Addo grows weary of the clingy Emily but can't decide if he should call things off or stick it out. However, she quickly realises where his true feeing are at.

Episode 45

Lucia returns after her disappearance with none other than Daniel McManus but her family isn't receptive to her assurances that nothing untoward happened between them. Lucia is furious with her family for going to the police with Paul to implicate Daniel in Philby's murder. She asks Stavva to trust her evaluation of Daniel's nature but her father is quick to go around and warn Daniel to stay away from Lucia.

While staying with Tess, Zoe confesses to keeping one of the diamonds that broke off the chest. Tess is eager to recover it from Zoe's tiara only to learn it has fallen off somewhere on the beach.

Meanwhile, Bec is facing a hearing with the medical board for her injection of Blade and Tess finds out about a will that implicates Jarrod in the murder of her husband.

DS Wilson's boss gives him a two week deadline to get a result in the McManus murder or he'll be taken off the case.

Tess reluctantly attends Jarrod and Tracy's wedding but arrives in search of answers after discovering Philby left Jarrod over one hundred thousand dollars in his will, perhaps a motive for murder.

Jarrod and Tracy's perfect day is shattered when DS Wilson, tipped off by Deborah, turns up at their wedding with Philby's will.

Meanwhile, Poppy encourages Emily not to give up on Addo and Gabby discovers she is pregnant.

Tess confronts Jarrod about a fight he had with Philby on the day he was murdered. Jarrod insists it was nothing prompting Tess to take the issue to the police. Pressed by DS Wilson, Jarrod is forced to reveal that their argument was about Philby wanting the truth to come out that he is Zoe's father.

Meanwhile, Gabby tries to come to grips with her confirmed pregnancy and Addo finds himself back together with Emily and making a public declaration of his love.

Jarrod begs DS Wilson not to discuss Zoe's parentage with Tracy because he's never revealed to Tracy that he knows the truth for fear of ruining their relationship.

Kirsten finds Gabby's discarded pregnancy test and assumes it is Bec's. She's set straight and soon figures out it is Gabby who is pregnant and tells Paul who then confronts Gabby.

Kyle's disapproval of Lucia's friendship with Daniel puts the two at odds giving her mother and brother a chance to play matchmaker.

Lucia's a no-show for the family barbeque to celebrate her 18th birthday, instead hanging out with Daniel who gives her a new car.

Tracy verifies Jarrod's story with Bec about what they were doing together the night of Philby's murder.

When Kyle sees Lucia with Daniel, his decision to commandeer her new car leads to serious consequences when he crashes the car. Pursuing on foot, Daniel rescues the pair from the wreck but runs off before the police arrive leaving Pia and Brian to assuming that he was the driver.

Lucia only admits the the truth when she is alongside Stephen and Brian on Deborah's doorstep as the angry fathers confront her about her delinquent son.

Deborah's blackmail attempt goes horribly wrong when her ex-accountant Thomas FIner, left with nothing, attempts suicide. Peta, Deborah's lawyer, is furious to have unknowingly played a part in this, and without support from Poppy, turns to Marcus for comfort.

Meanwhile, Poppy doesn't like Marcus' continues presence in her and Peta's lives and Kirsten goes after Lucia for toying with her brother's emotions.

DS Wilson is searching for Daniel's mate Tiger who makes contact with Jarrod demanding $5000 before he skips town in exchange for telling Jarrod what he knows about Philby's killer.

The rift between Poppy and Peta continues to grow when Marcus intentionally causes Poppy to think that he has slept with Peta. Poppy is then left to wonder if Jarrod has been involved in a shooting when she witnesses gunfire at the beach.

Peta and Marcus offer up their legal services to Sandra Finer to get the financial settlement from Deborah McManus they believe her husband deserves.

Stavva apprehends a young thief at the café and is shocked to learn Emily is his mother. Emily has been reluctant to tell Addo out of fear of losing him and Stavva agrees not to say anything.

A frantic Poppy rushes home and tells Gabby about apparently seeing Jarrod shooting Tiger. Seeking an explanation, Jarrod explains to her the reason for the meeting and how Tiger bolted upon hearing the gunshots from the bushes.

Jarrod doesn't want to go to the police but DS Wilson is immediately at his doorstep having been tipped off by Deborah McManus whose private investigator, Amanda Thompson, issued her with some photographs of the meeting and ensuing shooting between Tiger and Jarrod.

A distraught DS Wilson discovers that the key article of evidence in Philby's murder case has been stolen from the station and believes someone took it to set him up and get him off the case. The most likely candidate being Amanda Thompson.

Meanwhile, Jenny Wu is arrested in Amsterdam by InterPOL and Paul pressures Gabby to talk to him about their situation.

Gabby confides in Bec about her conflicted feelings regarding Paul and the pregnancy leaving Poppy feeling excluded as their conversations always end whenever she walks in the room. Confronting her directly, Gabby still won't include her.

Tess's baby shower ends in tears after each of the guests arrive with their own agendas and concerns. A very upset Tess makes an early departure and an angry Deborah gives a determined warning that she won't rest until Philby's murderer is caught.

Addo discovers more than just a handbag when he goes to fetch Emily's purse and comes face-to-face with her son Josh.

Paul arrives in the aftermath of the shower and reveals Gabby pregnancy to everyone. He assures Gabby he wants to be a part of her and the baby's lives but his behaviour gives Gabby cause to doubt him.
