With his corrupt operation falling apart, Drysdale tries to tidy his loose ends, hunting for Cam and the secrets he holds. Meanwhile, Saranya tails an elusive Katz to get answers and protect Scout from harm.

The penultimate episode loops backwards to track Drysdale’s fury when he discovers that Hedwig and Cam have stolen drugs from the operation he runs jointly with the Palmers. Ordering retribution, he’s satis ed he’s covered his tracks — until he hears that Cam may still be alive and Scout knows something. After Scout eludes him during a raid on the squat, he heads for the Wellness Centre, where Saranya denies any knowledge of Scout’s whereabouts. But after a devastating discovery, Scout plays into Drysdale’s hands and he holds her at the police station while he shifts his focus to Katz, infuriated to discover that he’s disappeared along with Drysdale’s missing key suspect. Sensing the collapse of his corrupt empire, Drysdale’s luck turns when a chance encounter with Katz’s demented mother, Florence, leads him directly to her son. Winding back to Drysdale’s visit to the Wellness Centre, Saranya turns her frustration on Huckleberry, attacking him for his stupidity in revealing too much and putting Scout in danger. When Huck retaliates, accusing her of being blind to Scout’s failings, Saranya snaps, asking him to leave. When Scout begs her not to reveal Cam’s whereabouts to the police, Saranya is forced to fight for Scout’s freedom in other ways — first pleading with Gracie and then, when she realises his incapacity, imploring Katz to deliver Cam to the police and secure Scout’s release. When Katz rebuffs her, Saranya secretly tails his car to a disused quarry, where Katz has been hiding Cam. His devastation when he learns of Hedwig’s fate makes it clear he had nothing to do with it. Before they have a chance to make their next move, Drysdale arrives with Florence. A standoff leads to a crazy fight, which ends when Florence attacks Drysdale to protect her son. It’s not a fatal blow, but enough to make Drysdale fall and hit his head badly. Katz is horri ed, but when he attempts to call an ambulance, Saranya stops him, telling Cam to run for it.
