This guide is a work in progress (2021) and covers the episodes of Cop Shop that have been released on DVD and is divided accordingly. 12 volumes, each containing 26 episodes, have been released to date. The images link to image galleries.

Episode 183

A young runaway is brutally assaulted by a man posing as a fashion photographer. The girl's refusal to help the police places her friends in jeopardy when her assailant lines up his next target. Eric is upset to learn of Lorna's travel plans and blurts out a marriage proposal. Valerie isn't pleased upon hearing the news and in her haste, breaks the news to Claire who shares Valerie's concerns. JJ is estatic when his horses come in and uses his winnings to buy into a racehorse. Roy draws up plans for a new house. Vic asks Danni to give a career talk at Susan's school.©tzuk

The rush is on to find a second abducted girl but believing she's wanted for the murder of her attacker, the girl runs from the police. At Liz's urging Roy agrees to open his home to an elderly musician. Valerie and Lorna get into an argument about the engagement with Valerie warning her mother that Eric is using her. Eric informs Claire he's decided to move out of the house, leaving it for her and Tony to raise their family in. Valerie fails to place a bet on JJ's new horse leaving Roy the big winner. Vic intervenes on Roy's behalf with Liz asking her to find alternate arrangements for Albert Hartley. Liz turns to Valerie for advice given her past experience in show business. Eric goes undercover as a homeless man as the detectives continue their search for the stolen jewels and the violent men trying to find them. JJ sits down Valerie and Claire to get to the bottom of their objections to Eric and Lorna's relationship. Vic takes a personal interest in the case of a murdered 11-year-old boy. A man who has for ten years believed his father died in a horrific car accident learns in truth he has only recently passed away after his wife paid him to stay away from the family. Vic independently pursues a murder case he hopes will lead him to the killer of his de facto stepson. JJ and Mike try to make a case against two men suspected in a bashing and robbery. Valerie hires Albert Hartley to play violin at her mother's wedding. Lorna may want a simple wedding at the Registry Office but Valerie has grander plans. Lorna assures JJ that Eric just needs some encouragement to agree to a buck's night. Eric questions Roy's phone message from a Sergeant Sergeant. Mike makes a break in Vic's case but Vic is one step ahead.©tzuk

The Riverside detectives focus on locating Vic and their suspect in the bashing unaware the men are on a collision course that will result in Vic pointing his gun at the man who killed his stepson who pleads for his life. Vic has to answer to the superintendant for his unsanctioned investigation and offers to resign. JJ's horse races at the same time as Eric and Lorna's wedding and comes in last. Eric and Lorna are married in a ceremony in the park surrounded by their family and friends.©tzuk

With the victim being a well-known call girl, Dani defends the man, a friend, against suggestions of impropriety. Liz asks Roy to mediate an increasingly dangerous dispute between an elderly man and his immigrant neighbour. After overhearing Roy telling Eric about wanting to marry Liz, Vic questions her about their relationship. Albert has a successful first public performance.©tzuk

Acts of vandalism by three youth culminates in serious injures to a young child when playground equipment collapses. Liz tells Roy she has no interest in marriage but still wants to see him as friends. Roy later clears the air with Vic who remains staunch in his objections to his sister marrying a cop. Liz recruits Valerie for Meals on Wheels but she quickly has trouble with hers. Politician Philip Hardy is cleared in relation to the car accident. Albert moves out of Roy's home into a senior citizen's club.©tzuk

Mike visits Amanda at home to express her friends' concerns about her continuing to see Philip Hardy. A stripper is kidnapped to use as leverage against her brother, a retired safe cracker, to get him back in the game. Valerie helps out Liz who is run off her feet working for the Citzen's Advice Bureau. Mike organises time off to take a Criminology course. Eric's long commute from Lorna's is taking its toll. Philip has an opportunity at career redemption by cleaning up vice gangs and asks Danni for her help. Susan fears she and Vic are sliding into a rut but also wants their relationship to be more discrete.©tzuk

Amanda uncovers the reason behind the safe robberies leading to the arrest of all those involved. In the aftermath of the attempt on the life of Danni and her informant, Vic takes Danni off the case and confines her to Valerie and JJ's house. The detectives investigate the shooting while trying to get Danni's now-reluctant informant to talk. With company staying overnight at the Benjamin's, Eric is forced to stay with Roy to avoid the long trip home to Lorna's. A power struggle erupts among the perpetrators of a marriage scam run out of a massage parlour.©tzuk

Later, she discovers they've been robbed of the money set aside to pay her large phone bill.©tzuk

A couple who commit a hit-and-run are brought to the attention of the Riverside police when the wife falls victim to a random bad snatch. Among the items taken by the thief is a yet-to-be-opened blackmail letter. JJ believes their phone bill money was stolen by one of the pensioners during the party but Valerie objects to him interrogating them, wanting to look into matters herself. Roy's colleagues needle him about his career being in jeopardy after he tickets the superintendant's daughter for dangerous driving. Philip Hardy is cleared in a public inquest.©tzuk

Episode 196

The pair responsible for the bag snatch are apprehended revealing the backmail attempt on the hit-and-run couple. The wife's father is determined to expose his son-in-law's personal and business misdeeds. Under the gun, the man leaves his wife and is later found dead, supposedly committing suicide. Valerie is surprised to learn it was Laurie Whitford who stole the money. His use of the money to help his granddaughter escape an abusive relationship earns him an unexpected reprieve from JJ on the condition he performs some odd jobs around their house. Eric's health is a concern for his coworkers and Danni draws the short straw to discuss it with him. Susan rejects Vic's offer to move in together. Eric collapses at work.©tzuk

A businessman is gunned down by a masked assailant in broad daylight. When the successful but hated man dies, there is no shortage of suspects. Philip Hardy asks Danni to host a party so he can show his critics he is on good terms with the police. Roy struggles to find an appropriate gift for Eric — until he learns Eric was the Australian motorcycle stunt champion of 1951. Susan helps Vic repair his relationship with his daughter.©tzuk

Eric is quick to dismisses the idea when Claire raises the subject of retirement. The detectives unravel the complex personal and business life of their shooting victim to identify his killer. A young woman seeks custody of the child she gave up — the child's father being the shooting victim. Eric talks Lorna out of selling her house in Kettle Creek, agreeing stay in Riverside during the week and at her place on the weekends. Roy struggles with the notion of charging a man with drunk driving when he came into the station on his own accord. Danni invites her reluctant colleagues to Philip's party where he surprises everyone, Danni included, by announcing their engagement.©tzuk

Episode 199

"One more job" is the promise a couple make to a construction company paymaster under their thumb. However, after stealing one week's wages, the pair set their sights on a bigger score, being so bold as to move in with their unwilling accomplice and his unsuspecting wife. While investigating, the detectives uncover an embezzlement scheme at the same business. Danni is furious with Philip for announcing their engagement before even proposing. JJ is tempted to follow Mike's example and enroll in university. Eric is staying with Claire and Tony after getting out of hospital but doesn't like their meddling. Vic goes undercover at the construction company after the police are tipped off about the next robbery.©tzuk

They are reluctant to come forward to the police, moreso after their house is bombed. Valerie takes an interest in the Grey Power movement. Philip's wife wants to reconcile their marriage. Mike is cleared and returns to duty with a warning from Vic to be more careful. JJ investigates when his horse's trainer is robbed in the days leading up to a big race. The focus on two young suspects intensifies when one is found beaten but JJ refuses to charge the obvious suspect and continues to investigate. Eric finds a house for him and Lorna in Riverside. Philip explains to Danni that he and his wife are pretending to get back together and will divorce after the election. JJ's horse, Never Beaten, wins but falls to second after a protest is lodged. Kate tells her father if he and Susan don't get married she will have to leave school.©tzuk

The detectives suspect a gang hit and when a dismembered body is pulled out of the bay, Vic is under the gun to get a result. To quell the rumours circulating at school about Kate's "playboy" father, Chaplain Bramley suggests to Vic he and Susan should get married. When parents begin to complain, Susan offers her resignation. Tony and Claire are worried about the Eric taking all the furniture when he moves out.©tzuk

A retaliation hit puts the detectives on to a drug importer. Amanda goes undercover as a junkie leading to the arrest of the killer. However, the reluctant witnesses are located by the head of the drug operation who wants to make sure they stay quiet. Danni is upset by a front-page newspaper story about Hardy and his wife. Hardy then asks Danni to lie about their relationship when the press start asking about her. After hearing about Susan's resignation and pending move to Western Australia, Liz pushes Vic to propose. Mike's uni mate Terry Lindford-Jones escapes his drug charge with a fine. Eric organises a surprise for Roy's birthday.©tzuk

The men have chosen to hide out in a vacated house while waiting for the heat to die down. Mike has it out with Hardy over his treatment of Danni, expressing his confidence she will leave him. Valerie organises a surprise housewarming for Eric and Lorna.©tzuk

The holdup men take the homeowners hostage when they return. Riverside police move in after a door-to-door search turns up their suspects. Philip's wife assures Danni that her and Philip's reunion is just a pretence for the election campaign. Danni grows weary of the whole affair and asks Philip if he was involved in the fatal car accident [189]. He admits he was driving and Danni is shocked to learn he left the scene without checking on his injured passenger. Kate is upset at the idea of Susan moving to Perth but Susan is committed to her decision. Valerie's asymmetric homemade curtains irk Eric but Lorna is able to foist them back on her daughter. Claire tires out a new motorised scooter but can't afford to purchase one.©tzuk

Riverside police are called to locate a suicidal man but JJ suspects he may have faked his own death. Danni asks Philip to turn himself in to the police or be arrested. He reports to the station the next morning not to confess but to threaten to discredit Danni and the Riverside police in the press. Susan and Valerie encourage Claire to volunteer at the Citzen's Advice Bureau. Tony learns about Claire's unaffordable scooter. Eric doesn't like Lorna spending time with an old friend.©tzuk

The search for the suicidal man ramps up when he is spotted hiding in a boat shed. The man is later injured when he crashes a stolen car. He loses his memory and flees the hospital before detectives arrive. After the man's wife and daughter make an emotional appeal on tv, the boat shed owner brings the missing man in hoping to claim the reward after first trying to blackmail the family. Eric has drinks with Valerie to quiz her about Lorna's relationship with Jim. With just days until the election, Danni is willing to call Philips bluff. After his wife agrees to go public with the truth, including her role in the coverup, Danni arrests Philip in the middle of a campaign event.©tzuk
