Valerie wants to organise a party for Mike and Alison's wedding. While in town, Lorna reconnects with Eric. Alison gets a restraining order against her ex, Ralph. It does not work. Fleeing an argument with Ralph, Alison is struck by a car outside Mike's house. She dies in hospital.©tzuk

JJ finds Finley but without anything to charge him with, JJ tells him to leave town for his own safety. With all the focus on Mike, Claire feels forgotten in hospital. Valerie has designs on her and JJ finally having a honeymoon in Surfers Paradise, he even comes through with plans — for a trip to the casino in Hobart. That man's nephew is later abducted by the criminal who set up the heist to get the missing money. Kate invites Roy and Liz to join her and her father for an indoor picnic lunch.
