Unfortunately, Linda hasn't quite figured out how to undo the hypnosis so Pete gets himself into some serious trouble at school.

Meanwhile, Dad and Fay are becoming closer again.

Little Black Balls

Nell gives Bronson an opal which he is supposed to trade for cash necessary for Nell's election campaign. Instead, Bronson gets sucked into buying a goat which proceeds to eat Nell's opal. The only way Bronson can find the opal is to examine each and every one of the goat's droppings. The townsfolk are disgusted until they discover what Bronson hopes to find and suddenly there is a mad scramble for the little black balls.
