A young woman rescued from the surf mysteriously dies moments later, drawing Zoe (Ash Ricardo) and Dan (Todd Lasance) into an intriguing homicide investigation, just as the serial case is thrown into chaos when Pia’s (Jessica Napier) body turns up and all the evidence points to Dan.

A young woman drowning in the surf is pulled to safety only to die moments later, drawing Zoe and Dan into an intriguing homicide case. Zoe’s still reeling from the end of her relationship but is forced to work with Kristof (Damian Walshe-Howling) and Dan as pressure mounts on the strike force to get a result.

Stephen (Dominic Monaghan) is relishing his role in the investigation and while the other detectives are distracted by their personal issues, he’s able to manipulate the investigation as he pleases. Just as the strike force finally nails the killer’s MO and narrows their search for him, the investigation is thrown into utter chaos when Pia’s body turns up and all the evidence points to Dan.
