A Day To Remember

A helicopter crashes into the harbour, colliding with an overcrowded sightseeing boat. As Tommy, Gavin and the divers fight to save the lives of a young couple trapped below decks, the detectives' investigation into the crash uncovers a trail of kidnapping and betrayal which lead up to the tragic accident.

Obsession (Part One)

When two men are reported missing and two bodies are found aboard a burned yacht, the detectives' suspicions switch between the jealous ex-girlfriend, the irate ex-boyfriend, the new boyfriend and the crazed brother. Christey is convinced it's the ex-boyfriend but Alex is not so sure. Charlie Driscoll asks Jack for a favour.

Pay The Piper (Part Two)

Christey's house is broken in to, his gun is stolen, and soon after, the body of an ex-con is pulled from the harbour, shot dead by a police issue weapon. As evidence and witnesses begin to point towards Jack as the killer, he realises it is Charlie Driscoll who is setting him up as the prime suspect for the murder—a situation she's willing to help him out of if he agrees to make certain evidence against her disappear. Lance and Emma are kept busy by a runaway youth found sleeping on one of the police boats. Tommy takes long service leave.

Charlie's Pride (Part Three)

While continuing to try to break out of the trap Charlie Driscoll has set for him, Jack finds himself caught in the middle of a power struggle taking place within Charlie Driscoll's crime empire.

Play It Again / A Split Second

A former lover of Alex's becomes a suspect in a murder investigation causing tensions to rise as Christey tries to keep her out of the investigation. Meanwhile, Blakemore is devastated after learning the armed robber she shot was carrying a plastic pistol, to make matters worse, she finds her career on the line as Internal Affairs investigate.

Got A Light?

When a doctor's car plunges into the harbour, the Nemesis is first to respond and Gavin's new partner, Matthew Quinn, dives into the water to pull the man from his car, too late to save him unfortunately. As a series of arson fires are set at properties owned by the deceased doctor, the detectives focus their investigation on one of the doctor's patients who is a serial arsonist. Meanwhile, the Nemesis crew observe a man dumping illegal drugs in the harbour. The divers recover the drugs but when one of the packets goes missing, Internal Affairs is called in.

Able To Leap Tall Buildings

Detectives find a woman bound and gagged aboard a yacht. She says she is the victim of a stalker, but her paranoid claims have Jack wondering if perhaps she is not making it all up. Meanwhile, Sykes leads an effort to catch a pair of notorious pickpockets and Jeff learns an uncomfortable truth from a friend who is conducting an unpopular conference at Water Police headquarters.

Chinese Checkers

The Water Police concentrate their efforts on locating two young girls believed to have been abducted while on their way to school. Sykes and Reilly are recruited to work alongside two agents from the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation on a seemingly innocuous surveillance job which ends in Mick facing a charge of sexual harassment and Gavin coming under suspicion as a possible informant.

The Trouble With Gary

When a body is found on the shore after being washed out of a shallow grave, the detectives' investigation sets its sights on a suspect whose arrogance and open defiance of the police begins to frustrate Jack and Alex. ASIO steps up their surveillance of Sykes while Mick prepares to fight the sexual harassment charge.

Saltimbocca (Part One)

Alex and Reilly investigate the murder of a restaurateur for which their only witness is a ferocious dog. Sykes, Quinn, Woods and Rorke take part in an anti-terrorism training course.

Jump In The Mouth (Part Two)

Continuing their investigation into the murder of Cosimo Luvece, detectives St. Clare and Reilly have no shortage of possible suspects as family secrets begin to be exposed. Quinn takes an interest in the case of a fatal boating accident involving a man he and Gavin previously charged with impaired driving.

Pinchgut

The detectives' search for the man responsible for an armed robbery and the murder of a hostage is complicated by the determined efforts of a TV reporter and the murder victim's grieving sister who takes the law into her own hands by abducting Christey and a suspect at gunpoint in order to extract a confession.

Mummy Dearest

The detectives try to determine the identity of a lost six-year-old girl, found alone on a warf with her clothes streaked with blood, and eventually find themselves trying to unravel the circumstances of her father's murder. Constable Matthew Quinn is devastated when a young woman in his charge commits suicide by jumping off the balcony at the station.

Two Of A Kind

The investigation of a murder yields the detectives two witnesses, but each one identifies a different man as the killer. Meanwhile, Quinn and Sykes are kept busy by an elderly escape artist practising his dangerous craft in the harbour.

Lazarus

While recovering from his gunshot wound at a rehabilitation centre, Mick's missing wheelchair is returned with an exhumed body in it. The strange case leads Jack and Alex into the investigation of the faked death of an accountant with ties to a people-smuggling operation. The Nemesis crew apprehend a young shoplifter and subsequently find his ill mother on board a yacht filled with illegal tropical fish.

Heavy Metal

Mick and Alex investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a young man whose body is recovered from the harbour near the location where two troublesome speed boats have been racing. Their investigation quickly focuses on the dead man's boss whose wife he had been openly having an affair with. Meanwhile, Quinn's romantic involvement with one of the boat drivers lands him in hot water with Hawker.

Tribes

A religious cult becomes the target of the detectives' investigation when the body of a murder victim is pulled from the harbour near their commune. Sykes searches for the woman who saved his life following a jet ski accident.

Low Blows

Alex is kept busy dealing with the problems of her fourteen-year-old sister leaving Christey and Reilly to investigate a pair of robberies and two brutal murders.

Tangled Web

Quinn and Sykes' discovery of a body in an illegal fishing net sends the detectives on an investigation that introduces them to the world of on-line romance. Sykes hopes a quick resolution to a domestic break and enter will help him in his quest to become a detective.

Family Ties (Part One)

A young street kid, who is an acquaintance of Alex, becomes the detectives' prime suspect when his pregnant girlfriend is found murdered. Hawker's attempt to help a friend after her business is robbed results in him becoming an unwitting accomplice to a murder.

Loose Ends (Part Two)

While investigating a case of illegal medical waste dumping, Alex and Mick find themselves searching for a killer when half a body is found among the recovered waste. Meanwhile, Hawker occupies himself by searching for answers to help him understand why Aimee killed her father.

Reunion (Part One)

A drug importing deal goes horribly wrong when a small time crim, captured as part of a Water Police sting operation, tries to implicate notorious Sydney crime figure Laurie Parsons in the deal. An eighteen-year-old girl confronts Jack claiming to be his daughter. Sykes worries about Quinn when he breaks off a high speed chase for no apparent reason.

In The Blood (Part Two)

The investigation into just who was involved in the drug deal gets even more complicated with the kidnapping of Laurie Parsons and the disappearance of $3 million in ransom money. Meanwhile, Gabrielle McMahon admits to Jack that Sophie is their daughter and despite her initial refusal to see Sophie, Jack is able to reunite mother and daughter before Sophie returns home.

One Good Turn

Hawker calls on Alex and Mick to investigate the mugging of a homeless woman whom he is an acquaintance of. Their investigation is soon complicated by a murder, Alex being held at gunpoint by a suspected killer, and a robbery. Meanwhile, Quinn and Sykes look into a series of marina robberies and Donna keeps watch on a dog at the Water Police headquarters while searching for its owner.

Mozzie

Alex's former partner from her days in undercover resurfaces to ask for her help in breaking up a paedophile ring. As Alex gets deeper into the case and the stakes begin to rise, she begins to question just who among her friends she can trust.

We Could Be Heroes

When a retiring cop is assaulted and tied naked to a wharf, the detectives set out to find the man responsible. When their investigation reveals other victims, it is realised the attacker is picking his victims from a local newspaper column highlighting good Samaritans. Mick asks Alex out on a date and arranges a meeting between Grant Hackett and a young swimmer Alex catches snatching wallets. With the Olympics just a week away, Quinn is busy swapping tickets to the events with his coworkers. Christey returns from visiting his daughter.

Final Chapter (Part One)

Caught off guard while transporting a prison inmate, the Nemesis is ambushed as part of an escape attempt and Jack is taken hostage. As the plans of the escapee and his girlfriend begin to unravel, they seek refuge at Jack's apartment where Jack's daughter is added to the hostage pool. A recreational diving accident threatens Lance's career.

Silent Running (Part Two)

As the resources of the Water police are mobilised to try and locate Sophie and her two kidnappers, Jack goes off on his own to track down his daughter and her abductors.

With A Vengeance

Jack and Alex's investigation into the identity of a floater pulled from the harbour leads them to discover a fugitive running from a death penalty she faces in her home country. After taking the law into his own hands, Quinn ends up in trouble with his girlfriend, the local cops, and Hawker when he becomes a prime suspect in the assault on his girlfriend's ex. With no explanation, Reilly's new girlfriend suddenly calls off their blossoming romance.

Remember This (Part One)

The detectives search for an explanation to the shooting death of a young man in a boatshed, a man whom police are quick to learn had a fascination with serial killers. Emily comes to Mick with an explanation for her sudden departure and asks for his help in gaining custody of her daughter from her ex-husband, a man Emily alleges to have been involved in an unsolved murder seven years prior.

Vigilante (Part Two)

The Police's investigation into the murder of Anthony Beroni is sidetracked when suspect Warren Reith is found murdered. Members of an anti-drug group are among the possible suspects as they had earlier attacked Warren for selling drugs to their kids, but when Emily confesses, the investigation take a sudden turn. Meanwhile, Donna gets into hot water with Hawker over an out-of-context comment of hers that gets aired on TV.

The Last Hurrah (Part One)

An attempt on the life of Charlie Driscoll prior to her forthcoming murder trial has Jack convinced she is once again up to something and may in fact be preparing to leave the country. His obsession with uncovering her plans draws the ire of Chief Inspector Hawker and places Jack in a difficult position when he is ultimately forced to shoot the very man who may have had reason to want her dead in order to keep her from testifying against him. Adding to his troubles, Jack in haunted by his memories on the one year anniversary of Rachel's death.

Bye Bye Charlie (Part Two)

Jack Christey is determined to stop a wheelchair-bound Charlie Driscoll from making her final dash for freedom. Sykes falls for a rower whom he and Matt rescue after her scull is swamped by a passing cruiser. Alex and her brother James are involved in a car accident.

Family Values (Part Three)

Convinced that the car accident was a deliberate attempt on her life, Alex investigates, only to have her focus turn to her brother and a university project he was working on that had him looking into an old murder case, possibly uncovering something he should not have. Jack and Mick question two brothers whose wives both fell overboard while their yacht was at sea. As a result of their questioning, each man implicates his brother in the womens' deaths but each man's claim of innocence seems genuine. While Sykes announces that he and Eva are moving in together, Jack and Mick square off over Alex.

True Believer (Part Four)

Having gotten an admittance of innocence from convicted killer Duane Smith, Alex is haunted by the brutal murder of a young girl for which he was committed and sets out to identify the real killer, jeopardising her job and her life in the process. Tensions among the detectives force Jack to lay down the law. Sykes and Eva get engaged.
