Episode 2.01

The group is rescued from Paramundi Ridge by a pair of rescue service helicopters and flown to a medical facility for examination. Their teacher, Gerry, is kept for observation after he begins to act strangely, raving about having encountered a UFO. David and Sarah are missing, reportedly being held in the Isolation Ward while the rest of the kids are kept on hand by liason officer Helen Stanich pending their debriefing interviews. The kids soon grow suspiscious of finding themselves in a detention centre with no contact with the outside world, and Leon escapes makes his escape.

Episode 2.02

The kids are surprised to learn they've lost an entire day and demand answers from Stanich who seems to explain everything away, including the whereabouts of David and Sarah. Most of all, nothing abnormal happened, and they'll all be going home soon. Harry discovers all their video tapes of events on Paramundi Ridge have all been tampered with. When further evidence emerges that Stanich hasn't been telling the truth, Harry convinces the others they need to escape. After obtaining a vehicle, the kids begin the journey back to Paramundi Ridge.

Episode 2.03

After escaping a close encounter with the local law enforcement, the kids find a phone but decide against calling home until the group is reunited. They return to Paramundi Ridge and begin searching for clues to David and Sarah's disappearance and their missing 24 hours. Simon is certain that there must be a rational explanation for the group's alien encounter and the discovery of helicopter wreckage conforms his belief. Amongst the wreckage they find David's book with a cryptic message written inside which sends them in a new direction — right back the the facility they just excaped from!

Episode 2.04

The group learn they are not the only ones to have had a spooky experience when their search for answers takes them to a strangely deserted town. There they learn the identity of the spooky twins they've been seeing and decide that finding these girls is their next priority.

Episode 2.05

Trapped under Ed's house with Stanich's men closing in, the group is concerned that there is a traitor in their midst. Harry is suspicious of everyone, himself included. Ed agrees to sneak one of the kids into the military base where Chrissie learns the fate of two of their helicopter pilots.

Episode 2.06

The kids head off in search of Ed's twin granddaughters. When Chrissie is taken to hospital after a freak accident, Simon's decision to call in a favour threatens the survival of the group. Chrissie tells the others the identity of the traitor.

Episode 2.07

The kids return to the railyard to release Simon from the freight car only to discover the train is gone. Hoping their friend can look after himself, the others decide to continue their search for the twins hoping they can help them find David and Sarah. Trapped in a freight car, Simon is bitten by a poisonous spider.

Episode 2.08

Harry agrees to a meeing with the twins so the group can learn exactly what the girls know about the events on Paramundi Ridge. Simon begins to feel the effect of the spider bite and Stanich closes in on the kids.

Episode 2.09

The group on the houseboat are confused by Stanich's reaction to finding them. Vic takes Simon to a doctor. After listening to the recording of the helicopter pilots, the kids get a clearer understanding of what happened on the ridge. An ancient map reveals the location of the next alien landing. Vic takes Simon to a sacred site and shows him some cave painting that appear to depict the group. The kids take extreme measures to escape Stanich.

Episode 2.10

Leon risks capture to return to the van. In a vision, Sarah tells Shonah that she and David will be found at the Glass Mountains. The kids say goodbye to the twins and begin making their way to Glass Mountains.

Episode 2.11

Lucy persuades the group to follow her vision and go to Moongoolba Hospital to rescue Gerry. Simon and Vic search out the twins to learn where the others are going. Stanich asks Simon to work with her.

Episode 2.12

Forced to flee the hosptial without Gerry, the group must decide between returning for Gerry or finding Simon. The group are stranded in the desert after their vehicle breaks down. An unexpected reunion comes with mixed feelings. Simon tries to convince the others that they need to keep together but Harry is reluctant to trust him.

Episode 2.13

Simon leads the others back to the cave shown to him by Vic. Trapped by a rock fall, the group must escape in time to encounter the aliens.
