Episode 1.01

UFO-mad Scottish students are eager to find out what really happened to a couple who claimed to have been abducted by aliens in Australia's Blue Mountains. The mystery deepens when the students themselves vanish. The students travel to Australia and set up camp near the site of the reported abduction.

Episode 1.02

Sarah tells the group about her late-night encounter with a UFO. The others do not believe her, so Sarah attempts to prove it by showing them a video of the encounter. The group make a series of unusual discoveries around the camp. The kids face their first crisis when Leon is bit by snake.

Episode 1.03

Leon is injured so Melissa decides to go back to the jeep alone to retrieve the antivenom. Meanwhile, David and Harry go off to find leeches to suck out the poison in Leon's blood.

Gerry turns the kids attentions back to setting up their equipment. After being run off the road, Melissa decides to try to make her way back to the camp. David is upset to discover that Harry has stopped taking his medicine for his epilepsy. Leon's condition takes a turn for the worse.

Gerry begins to worry when Melissa does not return and decides they need to carry Leon back themselves. Chrissie admits she removed the antivenom from the medical supplies to make Shona look bad. The girls are left behind in camp while the boys attempt to carry Leon out.

Episode 1.06

David and Simon go down to the gully to try and find Gerry, but all they find is Gerry's backpack and signs of someone being dragged. Lucy and Sarah go in search of Chrissie after she panics and goes off on her own. Harry tries to carry Leon out on his own and discovers the missing medical supplies in the process. The boys' jeep disappears while they are making their way back to camp.

The boys are heading back to the camp when they almost get hit by a branch that falls out a tree. They discover that the break was a clean cut, David says it's alien activity. The camp is divided about whether to stay at camp or leave. Simon and Chrissie throw David out of the canoe and head off on their own.

The group starts a signal fire and write S.O.S. on the ridge with large rocks. After debating the merits of sending out a seach party for Simon and Chrissie, David and Sarah go one way and Harry and Lucy go the other while Leon and Shona stay behind at camp. Simon drags Chrissie deeper into the bush in pursuit of Garry and Melissa.

Episode 1.09

Harry recovers from his seizure and tells Lucy that he suffers from epilepsy and left his medicine back in Scotland so he can be stronger like the other guys. Leon and Shona are attacked by dingos and the camp is ransacked. Chrissie takes control from an increasingly irrational Simon. David has an encounter when goes out alone at night to check the recording equipment.

Episode 1.10

Shona finds a buried capsule and decides to keep it a secret until she works out what it is. Hearing a plane overhead she tries to radio it for help. Having missed a chance at rescue, the kids decide to hike out. They stop to explore a cave and discover some unusual paintings. Chrissie and Simon return to camp to find it abandoned and received a warning from Gerry over the radio.

Episode 1.11

Simon and Chrissie decide to stay one more night at the camp site before they leave. Meanwhile the others get lost and David and Leon continue to fight and argue. The kids finds Melissa's video tape which David believes proves her abduction. Chrissie finds a track that may lead the way out. Simon finds Melissa tied up in a cave but after his previous visions, doesn't think she's real. Chrissie finds Gerry tied up in an old shack.

The kids meet a mysterious man named Joe who locks them up in a hut — could he be the source of the mysterious sounds and burnt ground? Harry, Shona, Sarah, and Leon rescue the others from the hut while David and Lucy follow Joe and finally uncover the truth — but David isn't convinced everything they've experience has been man-made. Simon goes back to the cave for Melissa.

Episode 1.13

Arnie double-crosses the kids and makes his escape with Joe, his brother. Melissa and Simon sabotage Arnie's jeep and take the capsule of diamonds. Melissa and Simon rescue the others from the hut when they see Arnie's jeep explode. Gerry and Melissa go to check for wounded and Simon goes after them on the trail bike but runs into Arnie and Joe. A plan is made to capture Joe and Arnie but Joe gets away. With help finally on the way, there is one final confrontation with Joe for the diamonds before one final mystery...
