Despite Pete’s best efforts to avoid Eliza and the reasons their relationship fell apart, things become tricky when the two of them are tasked with the retrieval of a critically ill 5-year-old boy with a mystery illness. And when they discover what it is, they have very differing views on the best course of action to take.

Elsewhere, a worried Graham is holding onto the secret of Leonie’s health scare as she goes in for surgery in Dubbo, while Wayne deals with his own shock at discovering Mira is pregnant with their child; a surprise neither of them know how to deal with.
