MDA Returns in New Format

MDA, the award-winning medical defence drama, will return to ABC TV in an exciting new 3 x 4 hour mini-series format.

This format will see three stand-alone compelling stories, each dealing with the human drama of the current crisis in our hospital and health care system. A Screentime production with ABC TV, MDA will go into production in Melbourne later in the year.

Screentime Executive Producer and co-creator Des Monaghan says: “We’re delighted that MDA is returning for a third series in what we think is a very exciting new format, which we believe will allow for an even more satisfying, creative result. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all those loyal MDA viewers.”

Director of ABC TV Sandra Levy says: “I am delighted to see MDA returning to the network and the new mini-series format will provide a more intense viewing experience, as audiences see powerful stories in a new form.”
