Belinda is upset by her mother's decision to see Daniel. Coral tries to cancel their dinner plans but Daniel convinces her to come over to discuss Belinda. He's particularly taken with the photo album Coral brings with her and reiterates he won't push things with Belinda. Belinda is concerned Marty has gone off her. Dean worries about his future after a poor performance in his first exam. Edwina has second thoughts about proceeding with the pregnancy. Belinda asks Daniel to leave her and her mother alone, accusing him of trying to get to her through Coral.

Episode 106

Dean decides to skip the rest of his exams but still wants to celebrate with his classmates — one hot classmate in particular. Coral encourages Daniel not to give up with Belinda, telling him he could be the father she's always wanted. Edwina admits to Zac she doesn't think she can go ahead with the pregnancy. Both misinterpret the conversation with Edwina thinking he's okay with her decision and Zac proposing marriage. Daniel's private investigator, Iris Delaney, returns and gets Maurie to open up about the Blake family. Daniel visits Belinda to tell her how much it means to him to have her as a daughter. Iris confronts Daniel with the information she learned from Maurie — particularly his father's affairs. Offended at the very idea, Daniel fires her on the spot.

Dean resumes his delivery service to earn money for a concert ticket but takes Neville's car without his permission. Dean sits in on a poker game while making a delivery, winning big, only to emerge to find his father's car gone. Unbeknownst to Dean, his parents took it to teach him a lesson. Shelley moves in with Dave and continues to manipulate him. Belinda is upset by the death of the chick she was assigned to look after. Shelley tells Dave that Holly killed her mother, accusing Holly of being jealous of Jenny. Belinda convinces Dean to sit the rest of his exams.

Shelley's emotional hold over Dave continues as she maneuvers herself between him and Frannie. Already worried about telling her father she is pregnant, Edwina now has an engagement to announce. Having trouble studying, and with his friends all busy with other plans, Marty hits the bottle. Frannie is surprised by Edwina's news and tries to get her to see sense and not just do what Zac wants. Zac tells his father about the engagement and Darcy guesses the rest. A tearful Edwina tells her father everything.

Shelley does her best to keep Frannie and Dave apart. Belinda questions her future with Marty given his behavioural changes and constant drinking and breaks up with him. Gordon and Darcy get together with Edwina and Zac to discuss things. Zac is adamant he and Edwina will have the baby and is stunned when Edwina reveals she doesn't want to have the baby. Dean risks his own exam sitting by helping a hungover Marty get to school. Coral sees Marty's empty alcohol bottle fall out of Belinda's school bag.

Zac is desperate to change Edwina's mind about not having the baby. Shelley keeps Dave from meeting Frannie by luring him home with a desperate phone call and then feigning a collapse. Belinda denies the empty alcohol bottle is hers but refuses to tell Coral whose it is. In light of the Zac and Edwina situation, Darcy backs out of his holiday plans with Narelle. Coral wants to have another go at bringing Belinda and Daniel together. Shelley doesn't react well to Dave asking her to move out. After pondering if her problem with Dave is that she's too nice, Frannie foregoes a date with Dave to go with Belinda to a beach party out of town. When they miss their bus, Belinda accepts a ride from two young men who drive the girls out into the bush.

Dean sets his sights on the prettiest girl in school for the Formal. Coral cancels her dinner plans with Daniel when Belinda doesn't return home. Belinda and Frannie convince the boys to let them out of the car only to find themselves dumped in the middle of nowhere. Facing a long walk home in the dark, Frannie quickly tires of Belinda's constant whinging about Daniel Blake. A phone call brings Hopper to the rescue but Belinda is upset when she finally gets home and finds her mother chatting with Daniel. Edwina and Zac have a frank discussion about their future.

Episode 112

Dean clocks up an enormous tab at the Shed while attempting to woo Amanda only to lose her to another guy. When Shelley refuses to move out of Dave's flat, he calls on Hopper to help him move out instead. Neville admits to Trish he used the money meant for Daniel's loan repayment to pay for their trip. Neville proposes hosting a talent quest at the Shed to bring in some money and makes it clear he expects Dean and Frannie to participate. Forced to go to Daniel's for dinner with her mother, Belinda decides to play the role of the sulking teen. Shelley attacks Frannie when she stops by hoping to see Dave.

Belinda is upset at being the last to know about Edwina's pregnancy. Zac invites Dave to stay at his place, expecting to be moving out with Edwina soon. Needing someone to talk to, Edwina confides in Coral about her pregnancy. Frannie shuns Shelley's offer of being friends and asks Shelley to leave her and Dave alone. Daniel gifts Belinda his mother's antique writing box as the ice between them begins to melt. Dean asks Belinda to the school Formal. Maurie is surprised when Angela Tilbury, a woman he hasn't seen since she left him at the alter 25 years earlier, comes into the bakery. Coral pushes Maurie to ask for an explanation and Angela tells him she didn't want him to learn her father was in prison. Shelley gets her job at the garden centre back. A tearful Edwina asks her father to made an appointment for a termination.

Dean asks Marty if he's okay with him taking Belinda to the Formal and Marty insists he is. Zac smashes up the garden centre when Edwina tells him of her decision to end her pregnancy. Daniel hires a limo to take Belinda and Dean to the Formal. Zac vows to stop Edwina. Marty skips the Formal to drink by himself in a park. Coral and Daniel's relationship moves onto a more intimate level.

The police pick up an intoxicated Marty and take him home. Zac looks into his legal options for stopping Edwina. Shelley suggests Marty go back to the farm to sort himself out. His father comes to collect him and expresses his regret for not keeping the kids on the farm after their mother's death. Frannie drags Edwina to the talent quest to get her mind off things. Father Patrick, who runs a local youth refuge, tries to interest Trish in having the Shed participate in an employment scheme. Lisa is upset after her epic-ly long poem is cut short. Zac is furious after learning Edwina is still modelling and confronts her at the talent quest believing that is the reason she doesn't want to keep their baby.

Episode 116

Lisa and Dave rush Edwina to hospital where she loses the baby as the result of an ectopic pregnancy. Despite Hopper's scepticism, the talent quest at the Shed is a success. Neville is jealous as Trish is won over by Father Patrick's charm. Despite Neville's objections, she agrees to take part in Father Patrick's work scheme for the youth at the refuge. An emotional Frannie returns home from the hospital to her worried parents. Learning about Edwina from Dave, Zac rushes to the hospital where Gordon tells him the baby is lost. After another argument, Zac breaks up with Edwina.

Episode 117

Nathan Potter, a teen from Father Patrick's youth refuge, begins working at the Loman's Shed Café but Nathan and Dean take an instant dislike to one another. Shelley's father asks her to come back to the farm with him and Marty. Shelley's not interested and tries to reach out to Hopper and Dave, neither of whom have time for her. Coral tries to avoid Daniel and backs out of their dinner plans but Belinda, having started to come around on him, decides to go by herself. Shelley, having isolated herself, decides to leave Echo Point.

Episode 118

Neville's overprotective ways leave Frannie fuming after he cajoles Dave into cancelling their date to spend the evening with the Loman family under Neville's watchful eye. Trish asks Dean to give Nathan a chance. Daniel gives Belinda a tour of his parents' lavish house — everywhere except the room where his parents were murdered. Coral admits to Daniel she's been avoiding him since they spent the night together and has come to the conclusion they have no future together. Frannie and Belinda ask Zac to visit Edwina in hospital but he wants nothing more to do with her. Daniel offers Zac a job clearing a block of vacant land. Dean makes an effort with Nathan who responds by making Dean fall off his skateboard.

Hopper starts to share Dean's doubts about Nathan when he sees him hanging out with the men who robbed him. Still struggling to cope after losing Zac and the baby, Edwina returns home from the hospital. She tries speaking to Zac but he rejects her once again. Father Patrick asks Trish to give a talk on her experience with his work experience program. While clearing Daniel's land with Dave, Zac finds a gun buried in the underbrush.

Zac soon realises he may have found the gun used to kill Daniel's parents. He shows the gun to Daniel and the pair take the it to the police who match it to the gun used in the Blake murders. Hopper confronts Nathan demanding the names of his thieving mates but Trish leaps to Nathan's defence. Just when Neville thinks he's gotten Trish to give up on the work experience program, Father Patrick talks her around. Darcy denies ever owning a gun when questioned by Zac whose recent discovery has triggered some memories. Coral reassures Maurie that his role in her and Belinda's lives will not change with Daniel now on the scene. Daniel spends the day with Belinda. He's showing her some old home movies of himself and her mother when the police arrive. Belinda is horrified as Daniel is taken away by the police.

Episode 121

Police interview Daniel Blake who seems unconcerned, believing the police can now make progress towards finding his parents' killer. Neville, Hopper and Dean are all annoyed that Trish has being swayed by Father Patrick. With the police reopening the murder investigation, Coral warns Belinda that Daniel will once again be the subject of rumours but Belinda is ready to stand by him, confident her father will finally be vindicated. Trish talks Hopper into giving Nathan another shot at the café but Dean comes up with a foolproof plan to catch him out using a hidden camera and a $50 note. Zac remembers he also a jacket found with the gun. Belinda agrees to be interviewed by a journalist to tell Daniel's side of the story.

Reporter Robin Ollie questions Belinda about Daniel, suggesting Daniel's efforts with her have all been in service of convincing her of his innocence. Coral arrives home to find Belinda with the two reporters and shows them the door before cautioning her daughter about talking to the press. Police need evidence linking Daniel to the gun. Neville changes his tune with regard to Dave and Frannie. Trish is furious with Dean for driving Nathan off — until she sees the video of Nathan steeling. Zac brings the jacket to the police. They are able to link it to Daniel and he is arrested for his parents' murders — once again in front of Belinda.

Dean tries to comfort Belinda who is distraught after seeing Daniel arrested for murder. Daniel is questioned by the police and is confronted with the jacket. He is held in custody until his preliminary hearing. Darcy encourages Zac to talk to Edwina but he wants to pretend she doesn't exist. Edwina asks Dean to talk to Zac on her behalf and explain how much he still means to her. Zac gives Dean the green light to pursue Edwina again. Daniel insists there's nothing to worry about when Coral and Belinda visit him in jail. Hopper and Coral reconnect much to Belinda's annoyance as she accuses her mother of not caring about Daniel anymore. Zac returns to work a the garden centre under Edwina's watchful eye. Belinda is devastated on finding she's been misquoted in the paper as saying her father is a monster.

Daniel rehires private investigator Iris Delaney, directing her to his mother's writing box that he gave to Belinda. Coral asks Belinda to allow her to work out how she feels about Hopper. Frannie panics thinking Dave's cryptic "special plans" are a lead up to sex. Gordon fires Zac when he sees Edwina fall to the ground after Zac pushes past her during another argument. Shelley returns from the farm and tries to latch onto Zac. Daniel's preliminary hearing ends with him being committed to stand trial. Iris Delaney finds a receipt hidden in the writing box for an inscribed watch given to Neville from Daniel's mother. Hopper declines Coral's offer to move in, telling her he'd prefer to wait until after they are married. Frannie is shocked when her and Dave's evening is interrupted by a surprise visitor — his wife.

Dave's wife has sought him out hoping he will take some responsibility for his son. Iris Delaney goes to Neville looking for an explanation for the watch receipt, accusing him of having an affair with Sarah Blake. Dave seeks out Frannie to try to explain things but protective brother Dean drives him off. Dave unburdens himself to an unsympathetic Zac, explaining how he left his wife when she was pregnant. Neville retrieves the watch from his safety deposite box and sells it to a jeweller — all while being followed by Delaney. Gordon is unable to give Shelley her job back but Shelley makes sure to rub her "relationship" with Zac in both Edwina and Dean's faces. Still holding out hope for Zac, Edwina won't entertain Dean's affections. Dean knocks back his friend's suggestion he apply for a job at the hospital — until he sees the nurses. Frannie meets with Dave's wife and comes away even less impressed with Dave's behaviour, telling him she doesn't want to see him ever again. Edwina finds Zac in bed with Shelley.

Zac tries to tell a distraught Edwina that Shelley means nothing to him but he's crossed a line. Dean's first day working at the hospital sees him on bedpan duty — and reconnecting with nurse Gillian Power. Hopper and Coral announce their engagement. Belinda is less than pleased, still holding out hope for her parents to get back together. Zac is unimpressed by Dave's lack of interest in his wife and son while Dave is amused by Zac being Shelley's new obsession. Iris confronts Neville with the watch. He explains it was a gift from Sarah Blake for using him to counter her husband's affair. Neville advises Iris to shift her investigation to the woman Edward Blake was having an affair with. Zac tries to smooth things over with Edwina who won't even hear him out. Seeing Shelley come into the café and immediately being all over Zac, Edwina dumps a bowl of yoghourt on Shelley's head, much to her friends' delight. Frannie tells off Dave prompting him to contemplate leaving town. Dave cautions Zac about getting sucked in by Shelley. Neville confesses to Trish he had an affair with Sarah Blake. Dean finds an abandoned baby in the hospital.

Maurie is thrilled by the engagement news and begins planning the perfect wedding cake. Zac tells Shelley that he's still in love with Edwina. Seeing Dave packing his things, Darcy challenges him about repeating his pattern of running away when things get difficult. Lisa has a crush but her first attempt at talking to a boy doesn't go well. Trish seeks out her friend Darcy for advice after Neville's admission of having an affair with Sarah Blake. Dean earns Gillian's respect for how he handles the situation with the baby but he turns her down when she asks him out not wanting to be taken for a ride again. Trish returns home to find Neville packing his bags but refuses to let him walk out on the family. Overhearing Dave's plan to leave town, Shelley packs her things and joins him. Iris Delaney tracks down an important witness in the Blake murders — Rita Brennan, Darcy's wife.

Trish, Maurie and Belinda are determined to give Coral and Hopper a grand wedding but they'd prefer a simple ceremony at the registry office. They decide to get married on the beach where they had their first date. Darcy informs Zac that Dave has left Echo Point, taking their truck with him, but paying out Zac's share. Frannie starts a petition, determined to save a tree from being cut down to make way for a car park. Darcy and Zac are surprised by Rita's sudden return after she walked out on them 12 years previously and are not prepared for her frank admission that she killed Edward and Sarah Blake after Edward ended their 4-year long affair. Her story triggers a memory for Zac who recalls being there and Rita drops one more bombshell — Edward Blake is Zac's father.

Episode 129

Zac and Darcy struggle in the aftermath of Rita's admissions. Zac tells Dean what has happened and he passes the news to Frannie, Edwina and Belinda who is over the moon and rushes off to tell Coral. A drunk Darcy shows up at the bakery to let Maurie, who has always blamed Darcy for driving his niece away, know it was Rita who killed the Blakes. Iris visits Daniel in jail to inform him Rita has confessed to the murders of his parents and he's to be released. He's shocked to learn Zac is his half brother but basks in the knowledge of the new family he has found. Edwina's friends convince her to go see Zac to try to comfort him. Dean suggests to Frannie that she chain herself to the tree to get some media attention. She takes him up on the idea only to run into Darcy who is sleeping off a bender under the tree.

Hopper in a panic after learning his friend has sold the boat intended for Hopper and Coral's honeymoon trip. Trish comforts Darcy who tells her all about Rita's affair with Edward Blake and Edward being Zac's father. Dean overhears their conversation and fetches Zac to come talk to his father. Narelle returns early from her vacation after being located by Grodon. With the wedding nearing, Frannie loses the key to the lock after chaining herself to the tree but Dean and Hopper come to her rescue. Hopper and Coral are married in a ceremony on the beach with all their friends and family present. Daniel reaches out to Zac, promising he'll get what's rightfully his from the family estate. Hopper and Coral receive a surprise wedding gift from Daniel who is the one who bought the boat from Hopper's friend. Coral and Hopper leave on their honeymoon allowing Daniel and Belinda to spend some time together as father and daughter.
