Australia's first medical drama following the daily lives of the doctors, nurses, administrators, and patients of the fictitious Albert Memorial Hospital. Set the record for the Australia drama with the most episodes when its final episode aired in 1983, at which time the Albert Memorial was closed down. The series never won a television award of any kind.
