WHITE COLLAR BLUE COMMENCES PRODUCTION

Sydney, 1 December 2001

Network Ten is pleased to announce that production of the telemovie, WHITE COLLAR BLUE, commences today. WHITE COLLAR BLUE is produced in association with Knapman Wyld Television and the Australian Film Finance Corporation.

Set in a major crime squad in Sydney's southwest, WHITE COLLAR BLUE stars PETER O'BRIEN, BROOKE SATCHWELL, FREYA STAFFORD, RICHARD CARTER and DON HANY as the detectives at Kingsway who are involved in a complex homicide investigation.

Network Ten's executive producer Sue Masters will be working with producers Steve Knapman and Kris Wyld, who produced and script produced the award-winning television series WILDSIDE. Ken Cameron, whose mini-series MY BROTHER JACK screened on TEN earlier this year and recently won two AFI awards, is directing WHITE COLLAR BLUE.

Network Ten's general manager, programming David Mott, said: "Ten is thrilled to be working with Knapman Wyld Television on this exciting new project. WHITE COLLAR BLUE is one of a series of projects under Sue's guidance and will be an important element of Ten's 2002 Australian drama slate."

The two-hour telemovie will be completed in early 2002. A follow on series is under consideration.
