Instead she forms a friendship with Annie, the owner of a bookshop who shares her supernatural powers. Danny is adopted by a wealthy couple.

Bops helps Danny by taking him to see Frances and Paulie. Danny tries to find his real mother.

Danny meets Frances' new boyfriend Rick, and threatens to fight him.
