There she finds herself in the middle of a war between Aunt Tuneless and her neighbour Foxy. The odd couple can make each other sick by playing the gum leaves from a twisted tree. Linda's problem is solved with a different kind of twist.

The Twist children see a ghost dog, whom they discover to be the dog of old Ben Byron. Ben Byron was a sailor who jumped into the sea to save his dog when it was washed overboard. Both Ben and his dog drowned. When Pete touches the dog he is inflicted with a bizarre and embarrassing speech defect. The children discover that the ghost dog is attempting to recover and put back together the dispersed bones of Ben Byron so that his body can rest in peace. At the same time Mr Gribble wants to organise a treasure hunt around the bones of Ben Byron as a tourist stunt for the town.

Lighthouse Blues

Mr. Gribble wants to bulldoze the lighthouse to make way for a amusement park. The commotion is enough to stir up the ghosts of Nell's ancestors, who haunt a room at the top of the lighthouse, and definitely do not want to be disturbed.
