Writer: Michael Bennett
Director: Kiel McNaughton

On one blood-stained night a drug deal gone wrong sets off a chain of events for dangerous factions and an innocent bystander, in this action thriller set in the small tourist town of Wairoto.

Toni Poulan (Cian Elyse White), the local tavern owner and solo mother, is pulled into a world of crime when competing crews decide to use her bar for a million-dollar methamphetamine deal. In a twist of fate, a robbery is committed the same night, taking cash and the drugs.

As a power struggle emerges with these crossed paths, Kingi (Eds Eramīha) the newly appointed leader for Te Toki, must right the wrong decision he made, and change the path they’re on.

As volcanic forces build, as the stakes and violence of a deadly battle escalates, the fate of the town hangs on a knife edge and a charismatic leader must risk everything to become the true saviour of his people.

This is a story of the possibility, and against all odds, for hope and redemption.

On a stormy night in Vegas a young leader makes a terrible decision which throws him into the path of a beautiful pub owner, and a desperate boy commits a crime which will change his life forever.
