When the release of a new dating app results in an explosion of STIs across Victoria, Steph and Langdon decide to hire a medical student. But when two medical students show up by mistake, Steph and Langdon must choose which to keep: the studious Yasmin or the entitled Herman. Langdon, feeling threatened by the bright and competent Yasmin, begins a campaign to champion the arrogant Herman in the hope Yasmin doesn’t get to stick around.

When a bigoted politician visits the clinic, Steph and Yasmin are conflicted about the ethics of treating someone so morally dubious. But when the details of the politician’s visit are spread online, Steph must work out who the source of the leak was in a bid to keep her job. Meanwhile, Langdon helps Greg woo receptionist Gwen in an attempt to stop him catching so many STIs.

Metro Sexual brings in a translator to assist a patient who cannot speak English, but when Langdon falls head over heels for the handsome translator he starts coming up with dubious reasons the patient needs to return so he can continue seeing the translator. Meanwhile, Steph fears the worst when Amelia Krabb from the health department requests a meeting, but the situation takes a turn for the worse when she learns that Krabb wants to get Langdon fired.
