The second series of Love My Way picks up eight months on from the dramatic finish of series one as Frankie arrives home from overseas (Iceland) to find the lives of those around her dramatically changed. Tom is living with a new love, forcing Frankie to move in with Julia at which time she learns that she and Charlie have been seperated for over four months and he is now living at his parents, who themselves are travelling overseas. A series of setbacks in both her personal and professional lives builds to an emotional climax for Frankie.

Lewis's moody fourteen-year-old son, Dylan, comes up from Melbourne to visit Frankie and Lewis but his presence causes Frankie some troubles. Brenda is having a difficult time coping with Gerry's retreat to Adelaide. Tom and Charlie shamelessly use Toby to spend time with the women not quite in their lives. Tom has some success with Katie (although her housemates are not as welcoming) but Julia is in full retreat mode after her break up with Steven. The condition Julia's life has decended to is tough for Charlie to see and when Frankie tries to involve herself, she is met with hostility. Before leaving for Adelaide to be with Gerry, Brenda invites a depressed Julia to stay at her house. Dylan surprises Lewis and Frankie by announcing his hopes to stay with them and go to school in Sydney. Katie is willing to give Tom another chance but sets down some strict rules for him to follow.

Tom begins his three tasks to win back Katie but a misunderstanding causes things to quickly backfire, but Tom is persistant. Di and Clive return from New York. Although his father's condition has worsened, Lewis maintains the distant relationship he's had with Clive all his life, but he does take Dylan to meet his grandfather.©tzuk
