Love My Way: articles

More accolades for Karvan and co

LOCAL drama Love My Way blazed its way through yet another awards ceremony at the Astra Awards.

The show picked up a gong for most outstanding drama series, and its stars Claudia Karvan and Dan Wyllie won in their categories for the second year running at the fourth annual subscription-TV awards in Sydney on Wednesday night.

Fans of the program will be happy to hear the show, which has also been a hit at the Logies and the AFI awards, will definitely return for a third season.

The show's major star, Karvan, could not make the awards ceremony because she is heavily pregnant and due any minute.

Backers Empty their pockets

LOVE My Way actor (and co-writer) Brendan Cowell is becoming a rather multi-talented star.

Cowell, who attended the Astra Awards without girlfriend and Aussie success story Rose Byrne, has his finger in TV, film and theatre pies.

Cowell and best buddy Look Both Ways star Anthony Hayes have organised support of more than $1 million to make a film.

The flick, with a working title Ten Empty, is due to start filming near the end of the year.
