Love My Way: articles

If the timing is right, Australian actor Hugh Jackman will make an appearance on Foxtel drama Love My Way.

“I love that series,” Jackman said in Sydney today, promoting his upcoming arena musical The Boy From Oz.

“I think it is brilliant and I was so proud of Claudia [Karvan], who I have worked with.”

The second series of the highly acclaimed Australian drama, which has won a swag of Logies and AFIs, returned to Foxtel this month.

Karvan plays the character of Frankie Paige, a 31-year-old artist who deals with the death of her daughter.

The series also stars Brendan Cowell, Dan Wyllie, Asher Keddie, Mariel McClorey, Alex Cook, Ben Mendelsohn, Sacha Horler, Susie Porter, Max Cullen and Lynette Curran.

The second season consists of 12 one-hour episodes to air on Foxtel’s W channel.

“It is fair to say I am obsessed with that series,” said Jackman.

“I am like a junkie looking for series two.”

Production on the second series of Love My Way wrapped before Christmas.

If a third series was commissioned, which will be decided by April, production would start in the second half of the year.

Jackman has met Karvan and the production team, which is a good sign.

“I met up with them yesterday and just said, ‘Look, if you are writing and I am around… if there is a role I can do, I would love to do it.’

Australian Oscar winner Nicole Kidman is also believed to be a fan of the show.
