Love My Way to return

Acclaimed Australian drama series Love My Way will return for a third series, with filming to start before the end of the year.

Pay television operators Foxtel and Austar have commissioned a new series, with the show's core cast including Claudia Karvan, Asher Keddie, Dan Wyllie and Brendan Cowell all set to return.

Filming is expected to start in December, with the show to screen on the Showtime channel in early 2007.

The show, which is exclusive to pay-tv, is set in Sydney and focuses on the lives of four thirty-somethings dealing with love and life.

The announcement of a third series comes after the show won three Logie Awards at the ceremony in Melbourne last night.

Love My Way was deemed Most Outstanding Drama Series for a second consecutive year, while Karvan and Wyllie won Silver Logies for outstanding actress and actor.

The show, Karvan and Wyllie also received pay-television's ASTRA Awards last month.

Foxtel executive director of television and marketing Brian Walsh said he was proud to continue to support an original, quality program.

"Love My Way is truly a defining Australian drama, one of the finest series ever produced in this country, and we are delighted that it will remain an exclusive subscription television property," Mr Walsh said.

The show has previously screened on channels Fox8 and W.
