Cariba was born in South Africa on October 1st, 1988 and moved to Australia in 1991. She has been performing since the tender age of 3yrs. Cariba's passion is acting and dancing, and wants nothing more than to continue in the industry for a long time. Cariba's cedits include the short film Ballistic Sessions playing the lead role Amanda and was hired as the youngest dancer performing at the Stargazers Convention in Sydney. She has performed in many stage productions including a tour through the USA and was featured in the UK artist Will Young's Video Clip. Cariba is an extremely dedicated and determined actress. For this role she hired a personal swimming coach to build up her strength in the water. Her hard work paid off when Cariba was recalled for the final audition which was filmed underwater. When her agents broke the news, Cariba screamed. Especially when she was told she won the role of Rikki. This is the role she really wanted. Rikki is different. The new girl in town with the mysterious past. Up until now she's been a loner. She's edgy, aloof and smart. There's something about the cool, extreme sport adrenaline junky Rikki that is disturbing, but attractive at the same time. But can she be trusted? You never know quite where you stand with Rikki. She's the one most likely to use her powers for personal gain and get everyone into trouble! She rubs Emma the wrong way every time. Rikki's solutions to problems are fresh and original. She's observant, tough and genuinely brave. She's also spontaneous and a fast thinker. She won't back down from a fight and is very motivated particularly where injustice rears it's head. She'll really fight for what's right when she believes in a cause. As if to symbolize her repressed anger, Rikki gets the power to boil water just by thinking about it. It's dangerous. It's powerful. And sometimes it's lucky that Emma has the power to cancel out Rikki's plans before she does any real damage. |
