Tasma Does Her Dash

The Blue Heelers farewell Dash McKinley this week as Tasma Walton bows out from the popular series. Tasma has played Dash for three years, and is leaving the show in dramatic style.

Dash has been doing detective training for quite a while now, shadowing PJ (Martin Sacks) around Mt Thomas, learning the trade and hoping to prove worthy of being a fully fledged detective. When Dash goes to Melbourne for her final interview, her proud mother accompanies her.

It looks like Dash is well on her way to a new phase in her career — and a move away from Mt Thomas — when tragedy strikes. Dash's whole life changes in an instant — she cannot be the same person she was, and that means making some decisions about her future she thought she'd never have to make.

Tasma Walton has been a very popular member of the Blue Heelers cast since she joined. She has left the show to move to Sydney and pursue some different projects — but at the moment she's just taking some time off!
