Seven confirms Georgie Parker's departure from All Saints

The Seven Network today confirmed Georgie Parker will leave All Saints in 2005.

Parker, who has played Nurse Terri Sullivan for the past seven years, films her final scenes with the medical drama early next year, and will be seen on-air until the end of May.

The Seven Network’s Head of Drama and Executive Producer of All Saints, Mr John Holmes said today: “Georgie has made a remarkable contribution to the success of All Saints and her portrayal of former nun, Terri Sullivan, has endeared her to audiences across Australia.

“We would like to thank Georgie for an incredible seven years…and wish her the best in future projects.”

Mr Holmes promised that All Saints viewers will be in store for an exciting start to the 2005 season.

“All Saints quite literally starts with a bang when it returns in 2005 with some explosive storylines,” he said.

Georgie Parker said: “I know that some of the audience will be sad to see Terri leave but the show has so many strong characters that I can guarantee “All Saints” will go from strength to strength. I want to sincerely thank the cast, crew and especially the wonderful audience for seven unforgettable years. “

Long-running cast members John Howard, Judith McGrath, Tammy MacIntosh, Chris Gabardi, Paul Tassone and Celia Ireland will be joined again by newcomers Wil Traval, Alex Davies, Natalie Saleeba and Mark Priestley.

2005 will also see the introduction of two new young cast members, Nicole da Silva and Guy Edmonds.
