All Saints: articles

All Saints' prognosis uncertain

SPECULATION surrounded Seven's medical stalwart All Saints last week, with a production source claiming the network was weighing up options regarding its future.

Although it's hard to imagine Seven would dump the long-running series - which was again overhauled this year and managed a national audience above one million last week - the source was adamant that meetings had taken place during which the program's potential was explored.

"The issue about All Saints is that, come December, it doesn't have a home," the source claimed. Seven will move studios at the end of this year, shutting down its Epping operation and taking up residence at the Australian Technology Park (ATP), in inner-city Eveleigh.

"There's an issue with studio space at ATP, and the concern is that Packed To The Rafters and Home And Away will fill what's available."

A Seven spokesman denied the claims, stating all the network's dramas would "be accommodated at the new site" and that "all's well at All Saints".
