All Saints: articles

All Saints alive, with a bit of surgery

REPORTS of the impending death of Channel 7 hospital drama All Saints are premature, according to the network.

But the scalpel will be taken to the series next year. All Saints, which stars John Howard and John Waters, will be screened for only 22 to 28 episodes a year, not the usual 40, a spokeswoman confirmed.

That means production will go into hiatus three months early from August, not November. The savings may be spent on a new drama.
