Sea Patrol II - The Coup: episode guide

Series One | Series Two

SEA PATROL is back for a bigger, sexier and more action-packed ride, with a new patrol boat and a mysterious guest star played by Alan Dale (Neighbours, Ugly Betty), when the second series commences Monday, March 31 at 8.30pm on Nine.

SEA PATROL II The Coup, starring Lisa McCune and Ian Stenlake, sees the crew aboard a new HMAS Hammersley, heading full steam ahead into very troubled waters.

The Armidale Class Patrol Boat is a high-tech marvel, but it can’t predict a journey that will involve a jewel heist at sea, drug and reptile smugglers, heroic rescues, a stolen arms racket, hostage taking, disastrous drink spiking, stowaways, and sinister international intrigue.

Onboard the Hammersley there’s a tidal flow of emotion as a love triangle begins to form and unresolved sexual tension takes its toll. An unlikely friendship is formed, tempting careers are offered, and there’s an unexpected change in the chain of command.

Running strongly through each stand-alone episode is a continuing story, awash with suggestions of political manipulation, suspect mercenaries, and a mega-plot that could see Australia involved in a web of international corruption.

SEA PATROL II The Coup also stars Saskia Burmeister (Nav), John Batchelor (Charge), Jeremy Lindsay Taylor (Buffer), Matthew Holmes (Swain), Kristian Schmid (RO), David Lyons (ET) and Jay Ryan (Spider).

The series welcomes new recruit Kirsty Lee Allan as Bomber, a no-nonsense country kid who has never been to sea, and Ditch Davey (Blue Heelers) as handsome SAS operative Jim Roth.

SEA PATROL II The Coup is produced by Hal McElroy and Di McElroy with the Network, Pacific Film and Television Office, Film Finance Corporation of Australia and Portman Media.
